While in the service, I took the long bus ride from military base to campus.  Showed up at the dorm at 0700, and offered a ring that was tearfully accepted. I immediately gave her the "big bull" [sex] treatment on the floor:  not exactly the classical "We" Channel scenario.  We were married at the courthouse during another
three-day pass; I think my father-in-law was eternally grateful for the savings.

Eighteen years later, I received a Glock 36 as an anniversary present.  We've seen our share, and if I play my cards right, I'll get a Krinkov kit[kiss] for our next anniversary.
