Like I said, that's what makes it interesting. I'm in a FAR-left, like make Pelosi look like a member of the John Birch Society, town. To the point where I overheard a woman say, right after the election, "My daughter wanted to wear her Hillary shirt, but is afraid to, because of all those gun owners out there."

The % of cars with "Coexist" and "War is not the Answer" bumper stickers is roughly equivalent to the percentage of white people in the town (about 95% white bread)

Local Lowe's in Alabama did it about 6 months ago. They actually did 9 spots of 3,3 and 3 spots closest to the front door.

I've seen a guy get hit with small pieces of shrapnel that didn't require significant medical aid that was denied a Purple Heart.

We had a guy catch bullet fragments 3" from his dick that didn't get a purple heart. CO said that since the fragments came from a bullet that hit the vest of the IA next to him, it wasn't worth the write up.

There is abuse of the system but to be fair there are many heart and other medical conditions where the person looks and acts healthy but they are very much limited in the amount of walking they can do.

My home depot has parking for pros and for veterans. It actually pisses me off a little bit. They are in fact the best parking spots. I'm not a pro or a vet.

I figure none of it is legally enforceable.

My local Walmart has purple heart spots and they are always empty. Harris teeter has veteran spots which I'm more than happy to park in though.
