Quoted: If your SO died while you were on a cross country road trip you think you'd be more helpful than driving to the other side of the country, lawyering up, and not talking to cops lol Like you know, maybe call the parents and tell them what happened? View Quote I dated a lot of crazy in my younger days. When crazy chicks get drunk they do stupid shit to get a rise out of you. It’s usually best to just remove yourself from the situation. Maybe this dude was fed up with her shit and leaves, she goes home with the rando to make him jealous, and she’s never seen again. Whether he did it or not, he should lawyer up and shut the fuck up. |

If he did it then yea def fucking lawyer up and STFU If he didn't do it then he should be talking to the cops (with his lawyer present) He could even work with his lawyer on a statement prior to doing so to ensure he's doing it by the book. Since this is a pretty binary choice I'm going to go with he killed her and she's dead Jim. |

NEVER talk to them police without an attorney present. |

Quoted: The last time I was in WY was 1980. Desolate as fuck. Hundreds of miles of nothing. While traveling cross-country my family came upon a young boy who fell of a motorcycle on a highway, badly injured. His father was stoned. We drove for what seemed like forever to get him to the nearest "hospital". No towns, no houses, no cars. Not a fucken thing but a whimpering child in the back seat for what seemed like hours and hours. Haven't been back since then. Have things changed since then? I guess not. Question for the LE and lawyer types here at ARFCOM:
Did you formulate your "the boyfriend did it" based upon pattern recognition (he was her fiance, last known person with her, etc?) or did you look at his photo, or what do you base your opinion upon? FWIW, I read the story and thought, "yeah, he did it", too |

I'm guessing she died or wandered off when they were doing some shrooms or acid in the park and he freaked out and left.
Or they had a fight and he legit left and then she did disappear but that seems less likely with a couple on a long road trip like that. |
