My reloads are like .13, I've bought factory for .30 or less the last couple months and sold it at cost to friends.

I scored a 200 rnd box of Fiochhi 9mm FMJ for $75 including tax.  They had a limit of one box of bulk ammo.   They had 100rnds also for $25 but you could only buy one box.  Still amazing for gunpocalypse prices.    Then last week I found CCI mini-mag at Walmart and grabbed 500 rounds $7.92/100 before tax.

I haven't bought fmj 9mm in a long time. I have 2 5 gallon buckets of brass, a bunch of projectiles, powder and primers.
I just loaded up 2000 rds in the last 2 days. That will do me for a bit.
I have a bunch of Speer Gold Dot I bought from a retired sheriff's deputy.

picking up 800 for $0.50/round this week for brass case Remington .  It was a BIL deal from a buddy though.

If I really wanted to have a range day, I'd pay 60 cents a round for a couple boxes.

Damn sure not paying $600 for a case though. I'll sit on what I bought back in the good ol' days.

Honestly thought of just dropping $300 on airsoft shit and using that to train rifle manipulation for a while in the yard. Even .22LR has me not wanting to shoot my suppressed rifle/pistol anymore.

I won’t need any for a long, long time so I am not really in the market. However, I am seeing people BUY locally at $40-$45 per 50 round box of 115gr.

This (maybe May? I don't remember). I paid about $250/k and felt a little silly paying that much but I'm feeling pretty good about it now

Of course, I wish I had bought more, but I'm doing pretty good.

Went to my local academy today (looking for barbell plates, which they were out of) and checked out the ammo section. They had about 10 boxes of 28g shotgun shells and about 10 little boxes of 17HMR.

I asked customer service if they had anything behind the counter (where they had been keeping the more popular stuff it a few months ago) and they said they get more in on Mondays and Thursdays, but "bring a lawn chair" because people line up before the store opens

I'd like more ammo but I don't need it that bad.

My daughter went to the range last weekend and got a box of 50 9mm for $30. I don't have a 9mm anymore and found some while reorganizing and gave it to her.

Saw Winchester .40 FMJ the other day for $50/50 rds. I almost fell over. I'm good with what I have for a while. Only buying lately is .308. I didn't have a rifle in .308 before a couple of months ago and started buying ammo before I got the rifle.

So they're making you pay a 95 cent premium for the cardboard box the case comes in I guess.

Or perhaps math was not their strongest subject.

I dont need any. I keep an eye on deals. Hell I would buy at .70 and flip it. Last I saw at .70 a round they sold all of it.
I have a friend that was contemplating buying at $1 a round.  This is the start it could go to $2 a round for pistol ammo. Seen 10mm $1 a round already.

One Stimulus gets you about 3/4 of a case, which is more than most gun owners will shoot in their life.

And they know that.

But they are used to being able to buy a couple boxes at walmart, and walmart doesn't carry 9mm any more

But I'm stocked up and hardly shoot anymore so I'm not panicking, I've bought most of my 9mm at $10 per 50.

I have never paid more than $9/50 for fmj or $20/50 for ranger/hst.

It takes a little of my time, but I can load my home cast 125gr lrn for $1.50/50 and plated/fmj/hp for less than $5/50.

I can also load .40 and .45 for less than $10/50 and have an ample supply of .22 if all else fails before prices return to a more normal level.

If I run out of all of my options and still want to shoot before that, I will have no choice but to pay the prevailing rate at the time.  If the price is high, I will either shoot less, or lose some weight buying ammo instead of food...

When 45-70 BRASS is going for $1.00 to $1.60 other ammo is going to rise like Tesla stock.

I made a purchase today and met a guy at my shop. The purchase was for $100. I had to cash in my car and at the last minute I grabbed a $50 and a box of nine mill.

I offered him $100 for the product and then said look “I’ll give you $50 cash and a box of 9 mm” he looked at the ammo and said Hell Yeah!

I don’t care about giving away all of my 9 mm at that price because I’ve got thousands of rounds to reload a ton of powder, primers and a Dillan 550.

It seems like everyone is going in the rimfire direction. With 9 mm at nearly buck it’s only going to be a matter of time before 22s are $.30-$.40 per round.

LGS had a case of 500 rounds come in.  Was selling it for 24.99 a box of 50.  One box per customer.   Sold out rather quickly.   I'm good for now.   But, I don't expect to be shooting anything other than .22 for awhile.

I have one of those, along with a threaded 9mm barrel and non-threaded .380 barrel.

As for ammo, today I bought 200 rd Winchester white box for $70 online and a few days ago bought 100 rds Magtech for $60.

Why? I want to continue to shoot. I stacked it deep during salad days. My SHTF stash won't be touched, but my practice ammo has dwindled due to continuously shooting this past year. Not going to stop shooting due to ammo prices, at least not yet!
