I firmly believe the feds are going to jump Kyle's friend's ass as soon as Kyle's case is closed.

The whole case needs to be tossed with prejudice, the misconduct of the prosecutor is undeniable, plus this is pretty clear self defense and kyle should never have wound up in court anyway.

So this trial has made my blood boil to the point that I took a few days off. What have I missed? Are we expecting a verdict today? Is mistrial off the table?

Quoted: There will likely be a number of non-socialists forced to defend themselves and they will face the same charges as KR. View Quote That may be so, but we must come to a point where we say enough is enough. The reason they have run roughshod over us is because we have let them. If several more rioters are perforated then they might, just might, have second thoughts about going a'rioitin. Especially if they stand a decent chance of picking up busted teeth with broken fingers. Just sayin. |

Why would they go after someone on their side? Is my sarcasm meter broken? |

Quoted: wait, the identity of "jump kick man" was reveaeled? The state knew it?.....If so, that right there is enough to cause a mistrial. Suppressing the evidence of a key eye-witness is HUGE! View Quote Not only did the state know who he was. Binger was the DA who had jumpkick man in court 2 months prior and gave him a plea deal with 12mos probation. Jumpkick man has a history and has even been arrested a couple times since the riots. He came to the DA, told him who he was, and tried to get a deal for immunity/charges dropped in exchange for his testimony. They apparently said nope. So yeah, the DA knew who he was the whole time. And they apparently kept that to themselves since everybody else has been calling him "unidentified jump kick man". |

View Quote It's a pattern. Not executing the warrant on GG's phone, who they know was using to record and communicate that night, who they know has a criminal history, who has been heavily engaged in these riots. Is also suppressing evidence. They tried to explain that away with Marcy's law, but we all know that was bullshit. Who knows what else was suppressed but I bet there is more. |

I think today's gonna be the day. The jury will return a verdict of guilty on some of the charges because they "have to." That or maybe a hung jury, but I'd put it at a 90% chance they find him guilty of something.
There will be riots either way. I hope I'm wrong. |

Fuck the rifle. If he gets out of this without a felony on his record he can buy a new rifle. |

But here we are, and can only hope those involved in prosecution are reminded daily of their own words, everyone gets a beatdown. I'll take prosecutorial misconduct and disbarment but this is a banana republic set in clown world Between the jump kicker being known by the prosecutors and only coming out after trial went to jury (how convenient), the violations of the 5th by the prosecutors and this withholding evidence how the hell can the judge not rule anything but mistrial with prejudice |

Quoted: I think it would be funny in some ways to see a mistrial but would hope “with prejudice” would be there. This is for Kyles sake, he has been through enough. Quoted: I firmly believe the feds are going to jump Kyle's friend's ass as soon as Kyle's case is closed. View Quote This is sort of getting in the weeds so to speak, but there are a number of legal doctrines which would apply in federal court to bar the relitigation of the same or substantially similar issues being decided by the jury here, which are pretty broad and numerous. So they'd have to go with something not even at issue in this state court criminal trial. I'm sure they could find something, but to the extent any of the factual issues were arguably considered by the jury here, they would likely be applied also in federal court. Assuming a non-woke federal judge had the case. |

Quoted: It's because, respectfully, women think with their heart first and then their brain. Men more often think with their brain only and no heart, which can be just as bad. I was the head juror for a local embezzlement case with a county employee. There was virtually no evidence against her... she was storing some speakers and party stuff in her car because Covid caused and event she was planning to be canceled and the county was accusing her of stealing them. From the second we walked into deliberations 10/12 jurors were not guilty on all charges. The other two older ladies felt she was guilty because "she just acted guilty". I was so dumbfounded by listening to them explain why they thought she was guilty. They had virtually no facts to support their idea, just that they "felt deep down in their heart" that she was guilty and planned to keep the stuff forever. They were willing to send this woman to jail for 10-30yrs over feels. Fortunately, the other jurors and I were able to convince them to focus only on the facts and block out any feelings or judgments outside of the facts of the case. I will add that one of the other jurors who was female was one of the strongest critics of their "feelings", so it's definitely not a universal thing. View Quote Some people simply should not serve on juries. |
