Of course not. the Democrats aren't communists. Actual communism doesn't exist anywhere on the planet, and never really has.

They're fascists. And the convergence of corporate America with federal power is pretty much the definition of fascism.

We're witnessing national socialism and governmental/corporate convergence take place right before our eyes. China - which is actually a fascist country, and communist in name only - is the model.

To the man on the street, of course, it makes no difference whether you live in a communist totalitarian state or a fascist totalitarian state. Same result for him either way.

No, there has never been a "Communist" nation.
USSR, Cuba, Venezuela are all socialist nations with the govt owning everything. We are on this path.
True "Communism" no one owns anything, it's "to everyone according to their need, from everyone according to their ability's", no one ever figured out a way to organize true communism - because there isn't one for humans. Closest thing to true communism is a bee hive or ant hill, where the insects just do what is needed and how they figure out what is needed the scientists really don't understand. Some of it is a class system - the "queen", "worker" and "soldier" are biologically different from each other. But how they organize the workers and soldiers each day is unknown. Communism can't really even be approached by humans, some of who want power, others want things, others want to be left alone. The real problem is the "wanting", bees and ants don't want, they just do what is necessary.

Not Communist nation at this very moment but poll and perception of nation pretty much says it all.

Let me ask a question.

Trump won the election. And through cheating and illegal means, Biden was installed as president instead of the real winner.

What does that make us?

No, we do not have government ownership of commerce/industry, nor the restrictions on private property.

Anyone answering yes needs to read up on what actual communism means.

What the left is trying to create is something new, an authoritarian / socialist construct with an identity/ethnicity hierarchy that defies conventional definitions. The world hasn't seen it implemented before, but that doesn't mean it's not really bad news.

The identity/ethnicity hierarchy is as old as marxism.

Whites have more than they deserve because the system is set up to reward them. i.e., systemic racism.

BIPOCs are being used to power the wealth of the whites.

Go look at any socialist/communist revolution in history, and you'll see that there has always been ethnic/race component informing the divide.

It's the same old song and dance as every other authoritarian/socialist construct.

It doesn't make us communist or even socialist. Those are economic systems, not political systems.

Consider a constitutionally limited democratic republican form of government ruling over a regulated capitalist economy.

A bloodless coup was used to install a president against the democratic will of the people. The most important question is who installed that president.  A small group of powerful people to whom he is beholden would make for an oligarchy except that the president isn't an autocrat, he still has to contend with the legislature and the courts.

We are still a Constitutionally limited democratic republic, and a regulated capitalist economy.  Only both of those systems has become corrupted by the influence of power corporations who abuse their wealth (Wall Street), their technological creations (Silicon Valley), and their unfettered access to the media (the MSM) to influence our government and our economy.

Yup. First and hardest step was installing their puppet. H.R.1 - For the People Act of 2019 will keep them in power for a thousand years. The 4th Reich is here.

For clarification, Pelosi is re-writing the original to H.R.1 - For the People Act of 2021, which will include an expansion of mail in voting since it worked so well this election.

We are tilting that way.  If democratic election reform happens - we will be a single party system that punishes anyone who challenges it.  So we are about to take the dive off that cliff.

Not communist.  I don't think there has ever been an actual communist nation.  However, we are undoubtedly a socialist nation.
