In the business that I am in, Financial Services, there are very few minorities. In my hobbies that I partake in, there are very few minorities. Take the shooting sports for instance. How many minorities do you see when you go to the range. So, my circle of friends have been predominantly caucasian. Thereby most of the women I meet are caucasian. I mostly just go for East Asian and South Asian women. Not sure if it is a fetish or what, but I don't find white girls very attractive (although some Italian and Jewish girls are pretty hot). Where I live a lot of Asians hit the indoor ranges for handgun practise. GunLvr |

One of my best friends from college married an asian women, wonderful lady and I eventually became friends with her. The three of us were walking out of TGI Fridays, or somesuch mall/chain/fern bar restaurant, and some guy made some kind of noises like "chow, chee yow" or somesuch to the other people at his table, who all laughed. That's the closest I ever came to hitting someone that had not taken a poke at me first [:(!]

Whites didn't come from light-skinned monkeys. Sioux didn't come from red-skinned monkeys, nor blacks from dark-skinned monkeys. Hell. No one descended from monkeys! Fact is, genetically speaking, we were probably all dark-skinned at one time. Every time DNA is passed to another it loses some info. It's called entropy. Over time, patterns develop, and there are fewer and fewer new variations. Guess what you end up with? People from different areas of the world with different characteristics. Inter"racial" (a misnomer) dating/marriage/reproduction actually enriches the DNA passed on to the child. This is one reason that children of inter-married families are usually very handsome/beautiful. I know a few families whose kids are incredibly gifted. Take a look into the background of some of your favorite "hot" celebrities. Alas, I've never dated any variations. Maybe 'cause I drooled all over them. |

I'm Hispanic (Cuban), and I've dated Irish, Hispanic, Swedish (Ya, Ya...... it sucked, BTW), Indian (i.e. - from India), and good ol' American.
Never let me slow me down one way or another. If it's female, human, and good-looking, it was a target. I'd hit Vanessa Williams so hard I'd spot-weld to her.... Of, course, I'm married now (five years today!), so all that's moot. |

I am as pasty-white honkified as you can get without being a freckled red-head, my wife is an olive skinned American mutt and my kids are tan-o-riffic in the sun (something I can't do is tan - pasty white to lobster red and back again).
I have dated girls of other ethnic persuasions, but marriage has ended that sort of thing. Marriage can be rough, but dating just plain sucks. |

I'm a American of Filipino decent (Seems to be quite a few of us here Wave, LT [;)] ) and I've pretty much only dated Caucasians. Why, I'm not really sure. It's not that I don't find women of other races attractive, maybe it's just because opposites attract.
I married a blond haired, blue eyed American of Irish/German decent. I think the big kicker that got our relationship going was that we had very similar conservative/Repulican core beliefs, not to mention that she was and still is one hot babe! I agree with the earlier post saying that the kids of mixed race parents tend to get the best of each. I know our three kids seemed too. They are good looking and very intelligent. Our two older kids are very smart doing great in school. Our youngest is currently just a SMART A$$ and enjoys testing the limits of our patience on a daily basis. You just tell by his smile that he's cooking up some devious deeds. Can you believe that... Cute kids. Mine look very similar, just that my girl is 3 1/2 and the boy is 1 1/2. Me (Filipino descent) + Wife (Swiss/German/French/Irish) = very Dark brown hair and Very light brown skin much like your kids. I think you're right... mutual attraction and similar core beliefs. Oh, yeah, when she gets to be around 10 or so, I'll make sure that I'm cleaning my guns whenever any boys come around. I'll also have those '10 rules for dating my daughter'. |

Great family you got there Yojimbo. My family is similar as I am half korean/half irish and my wife is an english/irish blond with blue eyes. My kids are beautiful just like my wife but with my build (pitbull) and temper. I have dated women of every color, I have no prejudices at all. The only thing that pisses me off is racists but then being a 8th dan black belt, former marine and overall overly aggressive ahole with an irish/korean temper, I tend to enjoy beating the hell out of the good ol boys when they get stupid and make racist remarks or jokes.

I used to have a Black Girlfriend. Interestingly..I find that most "White" people who married outside of their race tend to be "conservative" whereas most "Liberal" people tend to marry within their own race. So..I just want to know who is more "Racist"? The "Liberals" or the "Conservatives"? |
