I don't regret my tats per se, but I wish I would have done a few a little differently. My left arm is sleeved tribal (no, BK1, I don't belong to a tribe), and I have two on my right arm and one on my left shoulder. I liked them, so I got them. I couldn't care if anyone else likes or dislikes them. When I am dressed professionally, all you can see is jut a little flame-lick on the top of my hand.
*shrugs* I believe we are all works of art in our own, God-given way. But tats on someone else mean little to me... It's their decision and I can just choose not to look if I don't want to. Then again, I have seen some absolutely magnificent works of art inked on others. As another said, to each his own. And my contribution to the ink BOTD:

figures. the name make sense. [bold]black plague plus 14 (or fourteen words). google '14 words' sometime when you have the chance if you don't already know about them. nazi or not, the tattoo is still cool, and a great piece as a concept. i have though about something similar for myself in the future. the yggsdrasil, the midgard serpent, rainbow bridge, etc. it's like a map of the old norse idea of the world. |

cdhicks99 and Hank, thanks for the compliments on the ink. Its not a very clear picture, but the guy did an awesome job on the stonework of the midgard serpent and the wolves.
Zara, no that is not my website. DScott, you're wrong on the 88. I'm not a fan of big government, especially one as oppressive as National Socialism. Hank, you're right on the 14 words and I have three kids that I am very proud of. I've been a member here for almost two years, although I hardly ever post. I stick to the technical side and try to answer questions when I can. I have not used this forum to push my beliefs, and I'm kind of surprised that this is where this thread has gone. BTW, since nobody has asked, the pistol in the pic is a Browning Hi-Power tactical. The picture is about 2 years old and I no longer have that piece. Other tats include a stone-work Thor's hammer over an Odal Rune on my right calf and a full color Valkyrie on my left calf. My artist is drawing up Odin to complete the sleeve on my left leg. |

whether i agree with the rest of your philosophies (hell, i don't know any of them. to say anything on them is pure speculation on my part.), i gotta applaud you on that. i think most of us on this site would appreciate and agree with that statement. as far as the fourteen words go, while i don't agree with them absolutely, i think there is some nobility in it. while i find it necessary and vital to our existence as humans to interact as a whole relatively harmoniously, i also find it sad that any idea of pride in heritage by anyone that is not black is considered racism. but that is for an entirely other discussion, and that is all i will say on the subject. now post some pics of the rest of those tats! i myself want to get a large mjolnir over my breast bone, hanging head down, probably done to look more like iron than stone or wood. think of something like this:

Yeah she's much better than I deserve...but let's not give her any ideas, okay! Tattoos are like just about anything else, they can be done tastefully or not. I've seen some beautiful women with REALLY bad tats just like I've seen some others with very interesting ink that was just downright sexy. On women I think it's pretty easy to do too much (and from what I've seen I guess it's hard to stop once you get the first one). |

I must admit, that's quite tasteful in its category. And if you ever should change your mind about it, it's the right color to respond well to various removal treatments. If I ever got a tattoo, it'd be the same color as my skin. That way, nobody would know about.  CJ |

I saw a fifteen year old in the hospital the other day with "handle with care" on her pubic bone. Her parents need a good bitch slapping.
Tats are a very personal thing. Most people either love them or find them repulsive. I am a big fan of the ones done with great skill and effort. I think the ballpoint pen tats are a waste of skin. |

In getting a new tat to celebrate my recent seperation and impending divorce I thought I'd take pics of them all and post them. The pics ain't great but they will work.
Partially done cover up.  The beginning of the sleeve for my left arm.  Daughter's name on my right forearm.  Left shoulder blade.  Right shoulder.  The new one, on the outside of my left calf. It means "free"
