Quoted: ] I’ve known Karl for 15 years. And the way people talk about him here is frankly disgusting. Many of you choose to create your own narratives rather than taking his statements at face value. He’s an anti authoritarian libertarian. I don’t agree with him on everything, but intelligent people can have nuanced contrary opinions and still get along. Maybe we’d have nicer things to say about him if he wasn’t out flogging racist SJW talking points. And his hair cut doesn’t help him any |

You don't get to retroactively dish out infractions for people "being rude" to non-members the second they join. Is there anything gayer than sack-riding white knights? I don't think so. |

SJW and nazi ideologies are remarkably similar Maybe we’re both right? I’m thinking “between a SJW and a Nazi: the story of Karl” can be the name of his memoirs |

Quoted: This. Ian and Karl have a winning recipe for gun vids and a lot of it comes from the fact they are a refreshing break from the manipulative political shitshow. It would be a shame to throw that away. Quoted: Quoted: I think people just wanted it to not even be brought up. Stay apolitical like Forgotten Weapons. Quoted: My understanding is they're hardcore atheists that use it as a tool to lobby for separation of church and state. Not my bag and not a fight that I care about either way. Let's run with either of these, assuming either is 100% true: One would speak to his values - as placing importance on the literal embodiment of evil is...well insane The other would speak to his character- as purposefully antagonizing otherwise well meaning religious beliefs that founded the country is...well insane. As always, the truth probably lay somewhere in the middle This is peoples frustration with the Satanist thing, since it seems to be a sticking point. I've already stated I personally don't give a shit about it. Technoculture/Infosec people are all fucking weird. You live with it. What I did care about was my money being sent to people who parrot SJW Propaganda. I certainly think the content is "worth a dollar" based on my previous contribution - but I am not gonna pay to be preached to. I don't buy Gillette razors after the stunt they pulled - what should set Karl apart? |

I don't buy Gillette razors after the stunt they pulled - what should set Karl apart? Tucker Carlson has had a church of Satan weirdo on a few times talking about their goals. As strange as that guy appears and acts, he often makes some very good pro-freedom points. However you are right that their "trolling" usually seems petty and targets things that aren't hurting anybody and that our country was founded on. Why protest that a church puts out a nativity scene by placing some pentagrams and stuff next to the same place the church has been doing it for years? Why complain about the ten commandments at a court house? etc I'm an atheist. I have exactly zero capability to believe in anything I can't directly see. It is impossible. However, I recognize the judeo-christian beliefs and values our country (and indeed much of western society and culture) were founded on and embrace them. I think it was a better time in this country when more people did. I just kind of write those guys off as kooky nerds/weirdos though. SJWing is what really pisses me off. That shit has gone WAY too far in the past 5 years. The amount of white people ashamed of themselves for no reason whatsoever and bending over for the mob is absolutely fucking shameful. |

Quoted: They're atheist. They don't worship the devil; they don't believe he exists. They seemingly use it as tool to offend Christians and to mock/disparage traditional societal norms and western values. I would imagine most are of the left, both morally and socially. |

It will be interesting in that he is a content creator and a "internet personality" so how does that play out when you engage in a sign of support for X cause outside of the forum, but the outside content is also subject to discussion here? What about when you have a multiple episode guest who is also a internet personality to some degree that gets exposure through those episodes but his other content appears to contrast with how he appears in those episodes? What is beyond discussion or commentary when the internet and social media viewpoint footprint they have put out there is accessible and possibly contradictory? |

That is the antithesis of political speech. Same could be said for gun celebs. |

Quoted: Idk karl or any of the inrange people but I'm also not scared of some imaginary boogeyman Satan is a pussy and sucks dicks. In fact, I heard he never comes up from hell because he's afraid to fight even a 10th level cherub. Just like the nerd that doesn't show up for his after school ass-beating. Let's see if anything happens to me. Hint: Nothing will |

Quoted: I don't get it. I'm supposed to dislike these pro 2nd amendment dudes because they don't dress like I do or because of the haircut? This horseshit is the kind of thing that keeps the 2A community fractured. Bunch of jealous fucks is more like it. You seem to not be addressing the real reason most people are disregarding him, his endorsement of leftist SJW propaganda. |

Quoted: Well, since you’ve known him for 15 years would you mind enlightening us on this disgusting display of white guilt? In several videos (especially ones related to FAQ and historical topics), Karl has long expressed his interest in the civil rights movement and made statements about various groups, including African Americans, being oppressed in various times and places. He has also made references to wanting to do a series of historical videos on the intersection of firearms and the civil rights movement. |

| I don't think anyone has a problem with Karl's views on civil rights, I really enjoyed the InRange video series on the Underground Railroad or the video on the War of 1812 and the town of Fazendeville, I think the backlash comes from the cringy virtue signaling and the black lives matter hashtag nonsense. |

Quoted: He's not wrong on that. Gun Control in the US is tied to the oppressing of various minority groups in the country. I'm aware. When I did my history undergrad, one of the required readings in one of my modern US classes was about that specific topics (gun control and oppression of blacks). As accurate as that topic is, I believe that the reality is that gun control is more directly tied to otherizing more broadly (and blacks have been largely otherized in our society, along with several other groups at various times). I believe that it's more of a time and place connection than many realize (e.g. gun control in the south was targeted at blacks, in NY and NJ at southern and eastern European immigrants, some might argue that even modern gun control is a targeted measure against certain groups- potentially with a more traditional role of hegemony that increasingly powerful forces would like to otherize, or at groups that have been long standing targets of oppression [way oversimplified] ). One of the other considerations that came to mind when doing that study is that there are often many other ideological connections, considerations, and fears that end up becoming interconnected. |

That's where I'm at. I couldn't give a fuck less about whatever Satan level trolling he enjoys. But now is the time to listen to black voices? Get the fuck out of here with that ![]() If you want to change how you're treated in this country, change how you act. |
