Question: What will they do next? Answer: 1. Illinois will push through CA style bans on ammunition sales during the veto session at the end of the year. Sales of ammunition and components will have to go through an FFL. They will try to tax it at least 3%. They will try to ban certation kinds of ammunition because they more scary than others. They will try to restrict quantities of sales. They will add more red flag laws. 2. There will be additional legislation said to clarify existing laws similar to the "Fix the FOID" bs we have already seen. It will be a smoke screen to further violate citizens rights. 3. They will start floating microstamping and so called smart gun tech that doesn't work. Pritzker at this point is predictable. He telegraphs his moves. He has shills park burner legislation in sub-committees. He waits until the Veto session at the end of the year. He has the shills amend the burner legislation to something completely different and pushes it through under peoples' noses during the end of the year veto session. Thanks to Trump he has a super majority. |

There are those of us working hard behind enemy lines. I encourage fellow Illinoisans to reach out to their local 2A supporting State's Attorneys and let them know you support them. Let those that have taken no position know that you want them to do so. Let those who support this awful legislation know your displeasure. More importantly, next year VOTE for those SAs who are committed to our rights. Don't wait until the general election. Support them in the primary. Vote against those that do not share your Constitutional values. 32 of 102 of Illinois counties' top LEOs stand in support of responsible firearms owners. Likely, others do as well, but are afraid to speak out. Thank you for your time.    |

Southern district judge has not ruled yet I believe. The one before Il Supremes is on hold. The Naperville one was denied a tro and is moving up the chain on appeal. Plus all the Chicago judges are Dems, so you will never get a good verdict out of there. So whatever is denied there will move up the appeal chain. |
