I  bought gas for $.59 gallon...I saw my parents buy gas for $.29 at Art Lacy's Bomber Gas Station...real B17...
Still there...but a little worn...

We used to wear an onion on our belt, cause that was the style.

We used to call nickels "B's".  "Give me 5 b's for this quarter."

I'm so old

my TV controller had a wire attached.

Cartoons only came on on Saturday
I wore Zips.

Remember pumping gas for 24 cents a gallon and you had damn well better check the oil and wash the windshield.

Remember watching Kennedy's funeral on tv... John and Bobby.

Remember going to McDonalds involved a car ride to the 'big city'.

Remember powder at $8 for five pounds and $10 for 1k of primers.

Of course I'm so old I've called Chuck Norris 'Sonny Boy' and got away with it because he had poopy diapers and couldn't get out of his stroller.

...I remember when Adam Sandler was funny

...I remember when you could say, "Dude, I went to a Green Day concert....", and not get your ass kicked

...I remember when if you took naughty pictures of a chick, you DIDN'T send them to the one hour photo, you had them "sent out" in case the person developing them at Walgreens recognized you, or her, as it was never someone who would "high five" you for having took them...

Your turn!

I remember all that. I also remember having a roll of film with the type pictures you are talking about (with an ex). I had them developed at the place where she worked.

Ike was still in his first term as POTUS when I was born.

You could only kill one deer/turkey a year because they were scarce.

Butchering Day was the social event of the year next to the Fireman's carnival.

Everyone used iron sights 'cept the rich folks.

There were at least eight shooting matches in my area you could go to on Friday night.

The movie theater showed one movie. There were two Drive-ins just in my little town.

Car-Hops at the burger joint.

The only tats you saw on someone were on ex-convicts.

Oh yeah?  Well:

I remember when there was comedy before Adam Sandler.

I remember when the members of Greenday were just wetspots in their momma's panties.

I remember when you took naughty pictures of girls with a Polaroid and nobody ever saw them except you and whoever you shared them with.

You young'uns are funny.

- Lita Ford screwing Lemmy of Motorhead
- Metallica playing the country club in Reseda
- Punkers made their clothes and would never go to Hot Topics
- you brought your old bottles into the store before you went shopping
- you ate a marathon bar while shopping
- you gave a hitch hiker a ride on Xmas cause hardly any cars on the road
- Universal Amphitheatre used to not have a roof
- the older kids used to go to Tom Sawyer Island to smoke out at disneyland
- Oh and maybe I should pick up one of those $175 winchester carbines to go with the $200 mac 90, 38 special $6, 223 $3, 7.62 x 39 $2 in 1993

- flying down the road with the windows down you knew you were going fast when the seat belt slipped from the clip and nailed you in the head

you guys:

I'm so old I remember when:

Evil Knievel missed the GrandCanyon.  er hit it, he was trying to "miss" it.  haha.

Motorcycle racing did NOT involve leaning, let alone dragging knee.

Chevy smallblocks required a new cam every 60-70,000miles.

- Never needed a bath as dirt hadn't been invented yet.

- I wanted a Jet Jackson helmet for Christmas when I was 5.
- I was in kindergarten when Hound Dog came out.
- Gas was $0.25 per gallon and the quarter was made of silver.
- There were still a few Civil War veterans around.
- My grandfather on my father's side was 4 years old when Custer met his end.  He was born the same year that Yellowstone NP was established.
- "Out of the blue if the western sky comes SKY KING!!!!!!!!!!!  And his niece Penny,"
- Ripcord was an awesome TV show.
- Saw the original Superman TV show first run.
- Saw the first live satellite broadcast from Europe.  As the Satellite was in low orbit the broadcast was only 20 minutes long.  It was a greeting from the pope to the people of the US.
- Watched Neil Armstrong walk on the moon live.  By then I was 18.

Have to stop now as I just realized how old I am.
