They have to believe it; it's the gospel they've been taught to stay in line.
The cognitive dissonance won't let them acknowledge they were fools...at least yet. Over the next 4 years, some (many) will admit they were fooled or (more likely) pretend they never held such beliefs. Democrats know this is dangerous and could fracture their coalition of competing special interest groups, which is why they've ratcheted up the rhetoric and gone all in. For example, if Trump won't arrest gays or Muslims for being gay or Muslim; Soros will fund/manufacturer an incident for the perception to be created that he is...like the protests we saw this weekend. |

My cousin (a misguided liberal teacher) was telling me that kids were coming to school after election day frightened almost to the point of tears.
That Trump was going to deport all the hispanics back to their home countries and all the blacks back to Africa. Mind you 99.9% of the people we are talking about are US born. Who the fuck is instilling this kind of fear in these people? It is kind of like how people were talking about how Obama was going to round up gun owners, republicans and heterosexual white males and send them to FEMA camps.
