Hillary thanks you. Hillary has already won. polling statistics would have to drastically change in order for Trump to overtake Hillary in a general. Ask me how I know. I am not so sure of that. I know more than a few dedicated Dems that said they would vote for Trump. They are so hard core democrats that I thought they were joking but realized they were serious. Never seen anything like it. You are missing the fact that Trump is not going to rally the political Right... There are far too many Republicans that are simply not going vote for him in a general election. Jesus, you have own the base before you can even think about winning elections. Trump is already taking more evangelicals than Cruz. Social conservatism is dying (and good riddance). Social Conservatism is what has carried Republican candidates on to the White House since , genius. The Republican party effectively ceases to matter without carrying the South and plain states. Please don't tell me you think that one Republican primary won by Trump equates to the political upheaval of the socially Conservative South. |

I personally prefer Cruz, but not voting for Trump in the general if he is the nominee means letting a vote for the D candidate count. And I'm not OK with that. I WILL vote for whoever the R candidate is. Not doing so is exactly why the dems win. Conservatives won't hold their nose and vote for the person who will even support a fraction more of their beliefs. The D, and union voters ONLY vote that way.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. |

Cruz would have had this in the bag if he had some balls and wasn't so worried about not offending the enemy. BE A FUCKING MAN! That is actually what so many voters are attracted to in Trump.... the John Wayne "fuck you, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do". The antithesis of skinny-jeans-wearing millennials. This is America's last hurrah.... and Cruz pissed it away with too much makeup, lipstick, and not enough swagger. Think of it as cross-me-and-I'll-fuck-you-up attitude.

Iowa, 12 candidates, Trump gets 24.6% of the vote.
NH, 11 candidates, Trump gets 35.3% of the vote. SC, 6 candidates, Trump gets 33.1% of the vote. At this point, it doesn't look like Trump is picking up any additional numbers when candidates drop. If he plans on being the nominee, that will have to change. |
