I will not vote for Rudy. Period. He is equally as bad as clinton imo.

Who would vote for that shitbag?

A "lesser of evils" vote for Rudy is equivalent to "My car is broken down and you've got jumper cables.  You say you need a blow job to start my car?  Well, that's better than waiting 2 hours for my wife to come get me.  Ok I'll do it.  It IS after all, the lesser of two evils."

It is truly an intellectually dishonest argument to claim that "a third party vote is a vote for Hillary".  That's not how the vote was intended to work, and such reasoning perpetuates the problem.  I'll vote for an R unless it's Rudy or McShame.  There are other parties out there, and I'll vote for one of them.

Flame away, I'll prepare myself for all the "you are from DU!!!!1111111" hysteria.

I believe that abortion is murder, so I cannot vote for anyone who is pro abortion. Not that I won't, but I can't. It would be like me killing the baby myself.

If the Republicans nominate Rudy, they will lose.

The American people will get the socialism they deserve.

Don't fucking dare blame me for it because they put up someone I can't vote for.

Riiight.  The Repubs can sodomize us at will on the gun issue, they'll brand it a "compromise" against the Dems, and we will all still hold our noses and vote for them anyway.  You think they don't know this?

Nope, I'm blaming you personally.

The President is not going to decide the legality of abortion. The supreme court will.
When one of them dies, who choses their replacement??

Which do you think is more likely:

Rudy will pick somebody who is pro-abortion and piss off 80% of his party, or will he pick someone who is pro-life? That is probably the biggest issue facing them now, he won't get off chosing #1 easily.

Think about it for a minute.

She could appoint three more Ginsbergs to the Court and overturn the Heller decision after they're done packing the court with their Communist friends.

Great stragetory there.

Normally, Mac, you say almost exactly what I'm thinking on issues, but not on this one.

To me there is/was a big difference between GW and Rudy.    Not a good analogy.

I don't vote for socialists, no matter what letter they put behind their name.

They're ALL socialists.

Except for the suicidally-isolationist, surrender-monkey Ron Paul.

Politics is about comprimise and most of the time you don't get what you want but you don't get what you hate either. If Hillary is running I will comprimise with whomever the Republicans put up and vote for them. If the Repubs win I don't get screwed to the wall by dems but I also don't get everything I want because none of the people running truely represent me and my ideals. Sometimes you have to pick the lessor of two evils and pick the one that will screw you less.

He has already repeatedly said he would nominate Justices in the image of Scalia, Alito, Thomas, etc.

Red part:  You are asking for thought from those who don't understand how our government works, yet blather on about things they don't begin to grasp.  Think about THAT.

That's the biggest reason why if it came down to R vs. H.......you vote for Rudy and not some 3rd party shit which only adds to Hillary.

You think Hillary is going to nominate Justices like Scalia, Alito, and Thomas? Riiiight.

So yeah, vote 3rd party and see what happens......

Such a simple concept--yet so difficult impossible for so many here to grasp.

You really think Rudy will nominate conservative judges.     Not going to happen, and with a hostile D congress....he'd nominate someone just as liberal as what Clinton would.

They are two of the same.   There will not be enough difference, and I won't vote for either one.

If someone shoots me in the head with a 5.56 or a .308, I'm still dead either way.

You sound so sure of that--but how do you know??  You don't.  Period.

He claims the events of Sept. 11 changed his attitudes about many things.  I believe him, based upon the changes in myself.  He was MUCH closer to it all than I was.

Hopefully FT will be the Republican nominee and all of this will be moot.  And hopefully FT will be better than RG.

I hope so too.

I can tell you, with almost certainty, that Rudy will not be able to beat Hillary in a national election.  He is too much like her, and she is too popular with the left/moderates/women/ect.    He will lose if he is the "R".    Even if you convince people like me to vote for him, it won't be enough.    Rudy can't beat Clinton.

The President's opinion on abortion should not matter IMHO because he should not have anything to do with abortion law in the first place. The only reason national elections have anything to do with abortion is that ridiculous Roe v Wade ruling, so the only thing we need the President to do is to nominate originalist justices who will overturn it when the opportunity comes. AFAIK, Rudy has pledged to do that, so that makes him good enough on that score.

Especially considering that the only alternative may be Hillary Clinton, who is probably in favor of 13-year olds getting partial birth abortions without telling their parents.

well i think the thing most of us seem to agree on, is we don't want Rudy to get the nomination. then there won't be a problem.

I'm pretty sure I can count on Rudy to not fuck up the economy or taxes, and he'll probably pick much better SCOTUS candidates than the beast.

The nominee will be the guy that the liberal media props up for us to vote for in the primaries. You are the one who doesn't seem to understand. The manipulation of the populace is real. They vote like sheep because they want to vote for a winner. The primary voters vote for the candidate that has the best chance of winning (media bullshit opinion) that is closest to their views.

We haven't had a good say in our nomination process for a long time. The media and the GOP prop up the candidate that they think will bring in the most votes. They don't really seem to care that it is tearing this country apart.

If Hitlery wins, we deserve the resulting loss of Freedom.
