I shoot our local club's USPSA match when I can.
A few years ago I was shooting USPSA once a month.
Now due to work schedule and ill family members it's not very often.
I did shoot the match this month and had a great time.
Went back to Single Stack with my old beater 1911.
Think I'm gonna keep using the 1911 since I shoot it better than my XD.
You guys with kids around 11 or 12 and up, should really consider getting them
involved in USPSA. I got my son started when he was 14 and he did really well.
I think it was really good for him. Lots of good things for a young person to learn.
Such as safety, responsibility, focus.
He does not have time to shoot a match due to college and work.
but he is still a really good pistol shooter. he will be able to pick it up again later when he has time.
It's a sport you can enjoy your whole life !
