Make sure not to do it while cleaning your Garand stock, the hair gets in the grain and takes forever to remove.

I know for a fact that cat's can be placed in a home freezer for at least 1.5 hours and survive with no ill effect.

When I was dating my now ex, her 5 year old son who was evil, conniving and sadistic as fuck placed their older kitten in the top freezer in the kitchen.

My ex went into the kitchen and began hearing the kitten's faint meows.  She asked her son, who was contently coloring at the kitchen table. "where's Luna"?  The kid shrugged.  She began checking the cuppboards thinking the cat got in there while someone was getting something out of one of them.  After checking them all, she checked the fridge and then the freezer.  That's when I learned that the kid had issues.  He was a compulsive liar, extremely smart, and started two house fires over the next 8-10 years.

The cat was fine, thankfully.

That kid sounds like a textbook psychopath.

Dishwashers and now freezers?

Cat people tell me how smart cats are but I'm not so sure about that.

This is what makes this forum so damned valuable.

People need to know this stuff.  Is it in the encyclopedia?  No.  Why?  Probably the Illuminati.

But NwG steps UP.  Kudos.

Yeah - its like all the cat has to do is to pee and poo in the right place and not wreck anythiing in the house. Then, you get fed well and don't have to freeze your ass off outside. That should not be too hard to figure out, but we have evidence some people can't get that right, either.

Microwaves and clothes driers are inhumane.   Use something more civilized like a jacuzzi.

Apparently I'm a sadistic prick, because I'm still laughing at that video. It gets funnier every time I watch it.

Jack Bauer threads should be tacked and set to not archive.

It has been 15 days has Jack gotten back to normal?  Has his tail started curling again?

Preheat a large wok, and add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil.

A guy in Chinatown told me this is the only way that really works.

How long can cats be refrigerated?

Or moar accurately frozen?

I was cleaning out the freezer earlier and must have missed my cat Jack Bauer climbing into one of the lower shelves. I closed the door to take the trash out and got distracted for a bit.  When I came back later to finish later i was surprised to find Jack still inside the freezer curled up in a fuzzy little ball on the lower shelf.

It took him a few minutes to wake up, he was pretty soundly sleeping. (Pretty sure the light turns off when you close the door so it must have been super dark in there).
Didn’t think much of it as he is really fluffy and he wasn’t in there for moar the 4-5 hours.

Now he is acting super sluggish and his tail doesn’t seem able to bend at all.. He can move it, but it’s stayed laser straight for at least an hour now. How can I fix that? It looks weird..

Is there a dethaw setting? Should I put him in the fridge overnight to slow the process like with a turkey? I’ve never done this before.

the struggle continues…
