My Dad puts down about one every year.  He typically uses a .38 Special  but he has used a .22LR


Um just curious. Its cool I guess that a .22lr will kill a horse but why in the fuuuu
would that be the caliber chosen to do so if others are readily availiable?

Because it doesn't really matter when you're sticking the muzzle behind their ear and firing directly into the brain stem.
