Does anyone remember Greensboro? I wonder if that's gonna happen soon?
I think soft body armor may be a necessity in the coming years. |

A 3D cell Maglight stuck in a jean pocket would make a pretty good "broken arrow" backup baton that could be justified to the po po as just a flashlight. You'd be popular with the ladies too. Here you go |

I'll bring some tie dye, sandals, joints and a cellphone. I'll be an undercover informant for yall as well as sedate the enemy a bit.

I have it all ready to go.
Bump helmet, dirty bike goggles with tear offs, balaclava, hard ear pro, dirt bike chest pro, street bike leather jacket, street bike armoured knuckle gloves, street bike textile pants, slip on steel toes, cup. Wish I could carry my Halbert . . . |

Serious question: why not wear a plate carrier and hard plates to one of these shindigs? Outfit yourself just like LE. Plates, riot helmet with face shield, and gloves with poly knuckles. Add in some shoulder pads and some groin/thigh protection, and you're ready to party. View Quote Actively participating in a riot laws vary by state. In some states committing a misdemeanor while wearing armor upgrades to felony. YMMV |

Ride a motorcycle. Wear a full face motorcycle helmet, motorcycle jacket, motorcycle boots, and motorcycle gloves. Motorcycle all the things. You will be nicely armored, with some good shit-kicking boots on, some damn fine armor over your knuckles, and your head/face will be fully protected. Plus, you will look cool riding with the flags on the back of your bike. View Quote I'd also wear soft Armor under pads just in case. |

Look into "Zoom-Bang". It's good enough for SCA heavy, it oughta do for a riot.

I honestly don't ever plan on attending a riot. I live in beautiful Central Texas and there is nothing like Antifa here anyway at least not that I'm aware of. This was just more of a hypothetical situation type of deal. I am always trying to learn and make myself harder to kill. View Quote Google "Austin Antifa" and enjoy the lunacy. OTOH, you may live in Killeen. |

My number one choice would be a small shield. Anything thrown at you (except the back) you can block. Think of it as a more intense version of dodgeball.
Next helmet. But something that will not obstruct your movement or field of vision. Fingerless gloves. I would take mobility over armor. |

Hey guys I did find a strike cap for a D cell Maglight that seems nice. But I also read in some areas carrying on of these is a no-no. Strange, but check it here

Say if you were going to the Berkley riot, what would you wear or bring? Would you feel confident going in? I am a pretty large man, 6'4 and 255 LBS. I wouldn't really be scared of most Antifa commie scum but my problem is I wear glasses. I would need to find a way to wear a helmet and glasses at the same time. My contacts are expired and I'm waiting for more. I imagine I would wear a helmet and a cup for my boys. Maybe a surplus flack vest if I could find one, or even the paintball armour. Probably long sleeves, jeans and boots. And the Texas and US Flag, duh. So what would you wear / bring to the braw? How would you counter act mace and bear spray? Don't forget the cup.
Now it ain't a Dixie cup, and it ain't a coffee mug, and you sure as hell don't want to be drinking anything out of it. |
|
Paintball mask, bike armor and a plexiglass shield.
I'm glad to see things escalating and the leftists starting to get their shit pushed in by the right at these riots. They need to bleed. |

View Quote I'd wear dirt bike riding gear, boots and all. I've wrecked in some stylish ways and only felt it the joints and head, which is pretty much expected when you take a soil sample at 40mph. |

Use a 3M full face respirator instead of ski goggles and half mask. It offers much better protection, and visibility.

Take trophies from the fallen enemy. A necklace of white girl dreads for example.

Motocross armor looks like it would work very well for the purpose. Stick man's baseball helmet and goggles combo seems spot on as well as looking badass.
Gloves, groin protector, shin guards. Good boots. Pouch with water and/or wipes for cleaning off and a backup pair of goggles. |
