OP, how many windshields have you gone through on it?

Honda Elements seem to have more broken windshields than any other vehicle I've ever seen.

I'm still on the original windshield in my '06 (bought new).

My wife has one. We built a little camper into the back and it was surprisingly easy to do (not my video).

I don't think anyone that lives in Jersey can comment on what is trash and what isn't trash.

@Ivan1

Yep
Bottom looks good. Head was borked. Adding a K20 head and TSX cams

Good to hear. What year tsx cams are you going to get? I would sell you a tsx head but it needs valve guides and probably wouldn’t be worth it to get them replaced.

Kinda like the Kazera KZ-V's.  17x7's, weigh about 18lbs.

Is that the 900W or 1200W model?

They look like tupperware cars.

They belong in a kitchen.

I'd take one if manual and AWD. The ones around here are all ragged out.

BIL had one, constantly replacing windshields.  Other than that it was a cool car.

I wouldn't own one myself, but they have a quirky "neat" about them. A lot of Honda's vehicles do.

They are well thought out,  reliable vehicles that retain their value.

I would have bought one for the wife, if I could have found a deal.

Elements were great - especially a manual one with the later refinements like painted body panels.  Honda offers some weird vehicles still, but none with the same quirky charm.

Never, I will be buried in it. Or I'll keep it because when teotwawki comes, I'll need a reliable vehicle with a table that comes out the back.

Same. I have had mine for 15 years now. Put a kinda new jdm motor in it and all new suspension.  Rebuilding the old motor to swap back in when I'm at a half million miles.

I'll drive this thing till parts don't exist then I'll still find a way to keep driving it.

Commuted to work and back, really digging the new tires/wheels.

Element is less floaty and definitely more planted in harder corners.

Good shit!

I replaced mine once, around the time a recall went out on them.

Jeeps break more windshields I would think

The all-time champ for broken windshield is the Toyota FJ.

It's literally 90 degrees up and down.

This. I got the first stone chip at under 300 miles. At least it was fixable and I used a repair kit 15 minutes after It happened before it started starring.
