Actually, I think that has some basis from parts of the Bible (Revelation, I think) describing the boundaries of the future kingdom of Israel.

Not the two stripes thing.  Don't know how they got that.

Not sure why the Palestinians would care either since they never owned part of Egypt or Iraq...

The Jews only use the Torah, which are the 1st five books of the Bible.

HH

Not true.  They use the entire OT.  The first 5 books are just the Pentatuch. Or something spelled very similarly.

Torah and Pentatuch are referring to basically the same thing...

The Torah (Hebrew, "law" or "doctrine"), in Judaism, is the Pentateuch, especially when in the form of a parchment scroll for reading in the synagogue. The Torah is the cornerstone of Jewish religion and law.

The Pentateuch is the five-fold volume, consisting of the first five books of the Old Testament. The books composing the Pentateuch are properly but one book, the "Law of Moses," the "Book of the Law of Moses," the "Book of Moses," or, as the Jews designate it, the "Torah" or "Law.

UNEDITED TO ADD...
I hope that Israel tells the Pallies (and the terrorist group Hamas) where they can put that request

Thanks for the clarification. Tonster!

Genesis 15:18 is where God made a promise with Abraham (Jews) to have all the land between the river of Egypt to the Euphrates River.

I think we all could all benefit from a bit more studying on the subject.  Some of y'all are getting things somewhat confused..

-Abraham was not a "jew" in the commonly used sense.  "Jew" often refers to the southern kingdom of Judah (as opposed to the northern kingdom of Israel).  Misunderstanding how the term is used can cause a bit of confusion when reading scripture.

-Ishmael wasn't screwed out of his birthright by Isaac; you are thinking of Esau.

-Some consider that there are thirteen tribes; the adopted Ephraim and Mannaseh making a defacto thirteenth tribe.

-Some would also argue that the ten northern tribes (Israel) were not "lost", just dispersed.  This is an area of study which causes certain people to break out in hives, due to the implications.

Even then, the Southern Kingdom contained Benjamin, Levi, and one of the other smaller tribes.

No, Ishmael was the older son of Abraham (Mom was Hagr the Egyptian), supplanted by Isaac.  Esau was supplanted by Jacob.

Ephraim and Manasseh were not "adopted" per se; but were the sons of Joseph.  Since Levi had no inheritance in the land after the incident with the Golden Calf, the tribe of Joseph was split.  Jacob did adopt the two boys as sons, so you are kind of right.

Lots of foolish theology and sociology based on tat fact, if you look around.  The Christian Identity people are one of the groups that fell off of the edge...
