I am getting there I expected more from this than a sprinkle and very little wind and I am an hour southwest of Corpus.

Enjoy the flooding up there you were right to have started going west on 44 before going north on 35. How you ended up on 87 I don't know.

I also have a shit storm in the Panhandle I need to figure out how to take care of. My insane father got released again from a mental health facility.

It's three miles from 77 on 111 Edna side

Camp is probably cleaned out too.

Hope the feeders make it

Oysters are fucked for the fall season too

On top of that my daughters apartment at CC A and M

Is fudged by now. Hell of a way to start college

It's been on the news here since at least Tuesday. I had my "top 10 list" preps done Wednesday. Used Thursday to pick up odds and ends that make life easier. Topped off the gas tank in the truck, retrieved the patch cable for tieing the generator to the house this morning and grabbed another few gallons of water just cuz. I laughed my ass off on Thursday at people clearing shelves and standing on line at the gas station.

We maybe didn't have time for newbies to prep. I already had a generator and a few other things, plus some practice at doing it all from past storms. But damn, it ain't that hard to grab 4 cases of water on your lunch break Wednesday and toss them in your trunk.

Fwiw, north corner of Lavaca co. So far max wind gust under 20mph. If your blind is well anchored it should make it. Mine are not even anchored and I am not overly worried. They are heavy mf's.
