HK loves to make that money on the spares. Nothing like 50-100 per mag to pad your numbers by fucking your customers coming and going. And if they void your warranty when you use third party mags (instead of the junk they put out with guns like the g36) they save money anyway

Why all the hate?  They make good shit (usually overpriced) but this is a competitively priced item from a reputable company. ill be in on these.

no reinforced lip like the Lancer L5s, they will break and will cost more to replace than getting the Lancers or the Pmags for that matter.

They still think you suck and they still hate you.

I love a good hatefest just as much as the next guy, but how, exactly, would HK PROVE you used anything other than factory mags?

Even if they could prove it, it'd have to be a hell of a lot of trouble, just to piss off a big customer with a denied warranty claim.

What would HK's motivation be here?

Not to mention suing a competitor to get them out of the way(GSG case). The GSG5 operated differently than a 9MM MP5, looked like one, and HK wanted to make a .22, so they sued and said "your gun can't look like ours". THEN made their version.

This. Plenty of companies making poly transparent mags years before Magpul was around, HK included. They made them for the HK 417. Was it really much of a surprise they would bring them out in 556?

I purchased one of HKs high reliability mags for 60 bucks. Put it in my kit to use in a rifle class. Had some consistant feed issues with it. Not worth it for the price, and HK is a smarmy company. Ill stick with the GI mags and pmags, maybe even buy a few lancers just to spite HK
