If your sights are 1.5" over bore, you zero so they're like that at 1 parsec. Otherwise your bullet would rise "over" your POA forever and ever and ever! If you zeroed at 10 yards, and you're shooting an AR so you're about 1.5" over bore, you'd be 12" over POA by 100 yards! |

This is true. Recoil, however small, would push you backward in zero gravity.

Blackpowder rifle, yes, but 99.99% of firearms used in the 20th and 21st (and quite a few used in the 19th century) century use nitrocellulose, which is a single molecule that reacts with itself. |

3 problems I see:
1- over heating under continuous fire 2- lubercants evaporating, you would have to have use solid type of lube that would stay in place 3- the bullets in standard cased ammunition could become unseated if loaded with air inside. If they may have to be loaded and sealed in a vacuum and also designed to prevent set-back when not in a vacuum. |
