I recently got a resupply, too!  I grabbed the variety pack as I haven't tried the AK47 or Silencer Smooth yet.  I use the K-cups as I'm running out for work, using a new French press for the ground coffee at night/weekends.

]Serious k-kup question. What are some good ones? I have tried a few dozen and all have been pretty bad. Some, I've just flat poured out.

I tend to like a lighter roast. To put into Starbucks terms, I get Veranda.

We have one at work and now that I'm working form home all but about 5 days a month. I'll probably just use the kureg. I used to have a pour over set up and bring freshly ground coffee. Easy to remember every day, but not so easy to remember once in a while.

Here's the ones I've tried and liked. Store is local so I shop there often, and they have a lot of brands not offered in most stores.

If you want I could send you a couple samples of each to try. I need to stop there and buy more anyway.

If your willing to send a couple that be sweet!

I'm just super skeptical of k cups since my only experience has been god awful.

Hey Chris (or anyone else knowledgeable), where would you get roasted beans from if you wanted to move past Kcups or ground Starbucks, but didn't want to roast them yourself?

Most small roasters do mail orders but it can get pricey with shipping.  That is where I've found the best coffee.  Many of the small roasters do mostly light roasts to bring out the actual flavors in the bean and if you haven't had it before, it's a different experience.  Much different from the coffee most people are used to.   Any big city is going to likely have several local roasters.

If you have a Sprouts nearby, some of their coffees are pretty decent and they are bulk so you can buy as little or as much as you want.
