I've been banned there three times. I was always reasonable, polite, and my only failing was to attempt to engage in rational discussions

instead of mindless libtard rant-a-thons.

The third time, I committed account suicide by posting this:

I gave them a short verbal blast and this image and I don't think the account lasted 5 minutes after that point.

It caused some embarrassment, that some evil Republican had managed to get in and stay long enough that he

left on his own terms.

I once posted as "Groucho Marxist".

Because Marxism should not be taken seriously by any sane person. It should be made

fun of and ridiculed, Groucho style, and that applies to the people who believe in that horseshit as well.

I donated money once to an organization that supported a One-World-Government to prove to others that such idiots did exist. I ordered Pamphlets and books including their version of a One-World-Government Constitution and passed them out to others including the church i used to attend. I still have one set somewhere. A bit dated now. Maybe i should pull it out of storage and scan it.

There is some resemblance to free speech here. More like general decency.
Think of this place like the polar bear exhibit at the zoo. there are a ton of polar bears int he exhibit, the zoo keepers are the mods. One day the polar bears find out that one of them is not a polar bear, but a seal. The bears just eat the seal,problem solved. The zoo keepers do not have to do anything, nature will run it's course and all will go back to normal.
However, over at the DU, an Arfcommer is like finding a polar bear in the seal exhibit. The mods must get rid of it before there are no seals left.

This all boils down to the truth. If you have a group of people believing a lie, the last thing you want around is someone who knows the truth.

Well, 7 years ago I did not know I was gonna do what I did...just observe mostly. Then I thought, this might be something to be used for good or for education. I'm done for now..at least I know how they think and how to get into their circle jerk.

Correct..no one should ever be ashamed nor hide the truth. This board is truth and has been for the 10 years and many friends I have made in that time. We don't want the lies here at Arfcom, we want the truth..sometimes we get crazy with speculation but that is a part of the discovery. This board survives, thrives and lives on because of truth.

DU is just the opposite..they live and die for the lie, whichever new conspiracy or hatred of America dogma you can gin up, believe the lie. Global warming, guns, religion, conservative lifestyle, honesty and integrity are never mentioned on DU..ever. They go after the bright and shiny things...regardless if it's true or not.
