I honestly wanted to be a Glock guy. I always liked them up until I got a little trigger time with them. I guess it's just me, but I just didn't like the way they felt in my hand. Grip angle, mostly. But I certainly don't begrudge any fans out there.

I have a G20SF and a G23... they both serve a purpose in my life!

My issued model 22 has been in storage since we got approval to carry whatever we want, within reason.

The world didn't start with Glocks and it doesn't end with Glocks, but if I could only own one pistol for the rest of my life it would be a 22Gen4.... with the large back strap attached. Or a 19.
Once you develop the feel to let the trigger go back only to the reset point, wooooeeeee it's fun putting a lot of rounds into a small area very quickly. While I've used and owned other brands (S&W, Beretta, HK, Ruger, CZ, probably some others I'm forgetting at the moment), their triggers feel vague in comparison. |

First gun was/is Glock 30 SF
Love it. Shoots smoothely, recoil is very controllable and I'm able to get rounds down range quickly and accurately. Grip angle does not bother me. It is my carry gun, so it is awkward at times, but worth the reliability. Never had a jam with it. I also own a 1911 and am planning on Buying a S&W M&P9 or M&PC. They're all tools to me, but Glock will always have my love and support |
I strongly disliked my glock, but I know they are good for some people. So I don't think they belong in the trash, just not in my collection.
My glock19 is my go to. Goes bang every time and needs very little maintenance. If I am without my g19 something has gone horribly wrong.

Quoted: I like all guns. I just prefers others over Glocks according to my own tastes. |

Here's how I feel about Glocks.
Glocks are a utility weapon. They are reliable, they are reasonably comfortable to carry and shoot. But they are ugly and they have no real "history" behind them. |
I shot a M&P full size 9mm with regular backstrap, and I still like Glock 17 better especially since I can fire it without the mag in the gun. I really like the grip angle of the G17 vs any gun out there too btw.

Quoted: 1911s- favorite gun to shoot at the range Glocks- favorite gun to carry all day ETA: if I could only own one handgun, it would be a Glock 19. Pretty much what I've boiled it down to. |
I like my glock 19 , replaced my 1911 only because of cost of ammo and doesn't rust like my 1911. I'd love a stainless steel colt combat commander in 9mm though
I don't like the grip design,Glocks don't fit me well. And after a house fire, all you have to show the insurance adjuster is a glob of plastic.

After carrying one for 18 years I've grown to love them. Simple and reliable defensive gun. I don't even think they're as ugly as some make them out to be - I like the overally simple shape and a least amount of markings which are small and not too gaudy like other handguns are nowadays. My department's in the process of switching to the M&P .40 cal and I'm not that thrilled about it. I'm sure the M&P's a great gun it just looks cheap to me, gaudier markings, and metal magazines.

I used to dislike them. Now i realize it's the singer not the song, and i could use one if i had to. Since options exist that I can use well and are at or near the same reliability, I just use them. This. +1 Ill take my HK P2000 instead |
The ergonomics on a Glock flat out suck to actually shoot.
I have run 5 day classes with Sigs and walked away without a bruise or blister. Glocks beat up the shooter with the squarish grip, cut out under the trigger guard, and ribbed trigger. They are cheap to buy and fix. They used to be reliable before the MIM extractor. All in all, they are not my first choice. |

With an aftermarket barrel, updated ejector and aftermarket extractor, and filing off the finger grooves, I can live with the Gen 4 G17.

I like my Glock 19 gen 4. Nice and light and compact.
Like my Sig P226 for home defense. |

I love Glocks. I've been emailing Glock HQ, trying to get them to make a Glock version Fleshlight, so I can make sweet, sweet love to it.
I like Glocks and I like 1911s.
What I love is pussy, whiskey, big naturals, and chicken fried steak. |
I love mine (several models).
- Reliable - Accurate for me - Comfortable for my hand - Safe with one in pipe - Quick to engage with no extra/unnecessary safety to flip They are not my favorite in the looks department, but the above qualities outweigh looks. |

I'm the same way. I appreciate the proven reliability and effectiveness as a fighting gun but they don't butter me up. I voted like. Pretty much this I have a 26 and 19 they are stupid reliable and 1 of them is with me at all times. But god they are boring |
Quoted: I hate the grip on Glocks. Other than that they are not bad. I Love the grip on a Glock 17. |
decent over marketed pistol with fanboy's that rival the FSA and their love for food stamps and crack. MANY better quality pistols on the market.
I love both 1911's and Glocks.....they are two different guns. 1911's and beautiful works of art that kick ass and are fun to shoot. I have two of them (Springer and Kimber). Glocks are great realiable and in thier own ugly way a nice looking gun. I have a few (17,19, 21SF, 22, 30SF)

I don't care for them at all. Bad ergonomics and I don't like the trigger feel at all. They are unpleasant to hold or shoot.
If you like them, that's great, but I would never buy one. |
I like the way my Glock shoots. Easy to work, reliable, accurate.
I love(d)* the way I can abuse/tinker with it using a relatively minimal amount of tools and not worry overmuch about messing it up. *Before 9mm gen 4 Glocks became scarcer than hens' teeth. |
The first handgun I purchased was a Glock 19. It is still my "go to" gun and carry gun.
The firearm market has matured and there are plenty of good handguns out there to compete with Glocks. I'm sure I wouldn't have a problem switching to a XD, M&P, Sig, H&K, or one of the other brands in that space, but I doubt I will unless they were to outperform my Glock exponentially. I now own 2 19s since I inherited one from a family member. I will probably end up owning a 17, 21, and 22 before its over. Who knows, I may try another brand, too! |

Don't hate them; but don't shoot them all that well. Plenty of others I shoot much better with. My wife shoots a G19 better than anything she's ever put her hands on; all comes down to the individual. My daughter has fallen in love with the BHP; always though she was a sharp one!
I'm not a fan of striker fired weapons. There's beauty in simplicity, it's just not there in a Glock
I like them, but everytime I get around to wanting to buy one I find something else I'd rather have, i.e. a 1911, a Beretta, an H&K... I'll probably get one before too long though.
