Full combat load for US Army Infantryman...7 30 round magazines or 210 rounds. I really don't see what 900 plus rounds in constant FA fire proves. Lets see you carry 900 plus rounds and move around the battlefield and try to maintain constant FA rate of fire. Can't be done. I would argue that in a real world condition, the rifle would have time to cool down in between engagements and would actually last much much longer than 900 rounds Belt fed LMGs that do fire FA are not designed to do so constantly and the gunner carries an extra barrel. I guess my point is that I don't feel inferior with a quality, lightweight (M4) mil spec chrome lined barrel |

Once it fails, the autopsy shows if there is something that could be improved to extend the number of rounds before failure. They don't expect anyone to fire 900rds rapidly in real life. |

Without cleaning or lube I believe hes up to almost 9,000 rounds. |

He's not using the same barrel profiles for comparisons etc. It's a meltdown video same as all the others have done (iraqvet has some entertaining ones) Zero indication of brand quality or any other educational purposes. |

So if I took all major brands of comparable 1/2 ton pickups, jacked the rear tires off the ground, put them in drive with a brick on the gas pedal, ran them until they all blew, then examined why, that wouldn't tell us anything? |

| I finally got a 10.3 Super Duty upper right before Christmas. I got tired of chasing issues with other short bbl builds. Could never get the 8” to run reliably suppressed. Even with buffers and AGBs. Said fuck it and ordered the SD. Runs like a champion. Love that upper/rifle. |
