He, and a LEO from TX are among the few people on my ignore list. No citizen is good enough for them, and it's been apparent to me in my 20+ years here that, in their eyes, no LEO can do wrong, and no citizen has a right to criticize them either. My perception has been that for those guys, even if a LEO just randomly pulled out his sidearm and popped a "civilian" on the sidewalk somewhere for no reason at all, their attitude was "they must have done something to have it coming, tough break, shut up, you don't know what it's like serf!"

There has always been a streak of that down the middle of the site, but as long as people kept their criticism respectful and made an actual argument, the Mods would let it go. Ryann and that other guy from TX would always get REALLY pissy and throw insults and shit.

I would like an explanation about this issue, quite honestly. LE should not be "protected" from criticism as a group or individually, NOBODY should.

It really is as simple as that. Ownership doubles down on supporting LE, no matter what, every time. Just look at the absurd stacking of LE in staff and mods and it's just getting worse.

There's still some funny stuff here but there isn't even a hint of honest real discussion of the most important topics. You could see this coming a mile away.
