So thicc. Not sure how you guys that are flying are packing enough stuff. I'm loaded down with gear in my Jeep to keep warm and dry. Pack light freeze at night I've got Merino wool, gortex, down jacket, beanie, gloves, 0 degree bag, bivy, sleeping pads, camp stove, tent, etc. along with boom stick and pc in 2 pelican cases. I'll also have a carry on roller bag and a small backpack. I'm bringing almost exactly what I did last year, except a smaller and lighter, but more insulated sleeping pad. It's 3 maybe 4 nights if I don't get a hotel Saturday night. Worse case I'll be in my rental with the heater running. |

I've got a couple of friends in Kellogg. If I can talk them into it, can they show up and run?
Also, how is Idaho with COVID stuff? Are they stupid like CA, AZ, etc., or are they more like GA or FL where they don't have a bunch of mandates and nonsense? Anything I need to know about CCW laws? (I don't have a permit) |

(I don't have a permit) View Quote You don't need a permit to carry concealed in Idaho as long as you're over 18 and not a prohibited person. I think there are some caveats regarding carrying in your car loaded, but those may have been addressed in the most recent update to our constitutional carry laws. I know someone else can give more details. There is no state wide mandate. Some stores are insistent (Costco), and some don't even require employees to wear anything. Seems like more folk in CDA are masking up these days |

Starting Tuesday I will be the easiest point of contact for last minute questions or anything else that comes up. BMSMB will be out of service starting then. I will check the thread and PM's as often as I can. Once I get to the run site I will still have the ability to check on things, but will be more sporadic. If you have the means to reach me off of arf please feel free to do so as well.
Reminder that there is no cell service at the event and you will lose it at least a half hour away on your drive in, be safe and we will see everyone in a few days! |
