(from linked article in thread above) "Then on Thursday, Bates allegedly approached a woman while she was sitting out on her screened porch and forced her into her apartment at gunpoint. He ordered her to undress and forced her to kiss him. She began reciting bible scriptures and prayed for the suspect. Police say his demeanor changed; he apologized and he gave her a shirt to cover up. They prayed together, she ripped out pages from the Bible and gave them to the suspect. He fled the apartment and she called 911." |

I am watching this on the local news now.
Wow, what a chase and shootout, this guy was nuts. I drove by very close to where they killed this guy, didn't even know about it. Oh here we go, his stepdad just said the PO PO didn't have to shoot him so many times. This guy wanted to die and he was going to take out as many as he could with him. So glad none of the LEO was hit, they were about 15 ft apart when the shootout happened. Both cars are full of bullet holes. |
