Greatful Dead Bob Dylan Lynard Skynard Bruce Springsteen Nazarath gets a close runner up. Actually, most any band has at least one song I really like. But the named 6 have the fewest.

Dude, they suck when ur stoned too. They were on PBS the other nite ,so i checked em out. They cant sing, they are the worst musicians, they butchered "Johnny Be Goode" like never b4. It was pathetic. Reminded me of a bad high school band playing in a garage. Gotta add Kid Rock to the hate list, man he blows |

I can't stand most of what is current in rock, which is likely the reason I listen mostly to jazz nowadays. But of the "older" rock bands, I HATE:
Grateful Dead Grateful Dead Did I mention the Grateful Dead? U2. Everything they do sounds the same, can't stand Bono's voice Aerosmith. Ditto U2 and Steve Perry Nirvana. Just what the fuck was the special thing about those no talent asswipes? Lynard Skynard. Everything they do sounds the same, and their singer's voice grates on every last fucking nerve I have. "Freebird" could make me go Postal. Neil Young. Sounds like he's singing with a knife stuck in his goddamn liver. Tom Petty. Just goes to show you that, like Nirvana, a lack of talent CAN get you somewhere. Fleetwood Mac. ARRRGGGHHH!!!!

Wow, I just cannot believe the Rush haters here! Rush ROCKS!!! I just got their Chronicles CD and can't stop playing it. Yeah, I know Geddy Lee has an odd voice, but the more I listened to him the more it grew on me. Even if you don't like him, how can you not appreciate Neil Peart's drumming? Villa Strangiato has no vocals, so you can't bash that one if you don't like Geddy. And if you think Geddy is girl for his voice...well, he was a bare knuckle boxer before he joined Rush...
Then there's Pink Floyd. Ok, I can see why some might not like it, but I LOVE PF. Yeah, it's strange, but I guess you got to appreciate british humor and mentality to understand it. And no, I don't do drugs, never have, never will. I still love Pink Floyd though. Of course I also love the movie Brazil too, so maybe that says something about me. If some of you don't like PF though what albums have you listened too? If only Dark Side then you're missing the best PF out there. Dark Side is overrated IMO. Everyone just thinks of Dark Side when they think of PF, but that's their worst album IMO. The Wall and Animals are my favorite...you can't beat a 2 minute synthesized dog barking solo (how could you not like that?)

The Rolling Stones I never knew I was supposed to like Steely Dan, but I can't stand their music. Never cared for U2 either. Maybe it's Bono's attitude. I've got a couple of KISS albums, but for the most part they aren't really all that good. More of a cookie cutter band than anything. |

Man I hate the Doors so much I completely blocked them from my mind. Talk about a bunch of "drunken buffoons." Not only are the Doors a bunch of drunken buffoons, but they are pretentious, self-important drunken buffoons. Jim Morrison could have OD'd sooner and saved us an awful lot of CRAP on the radio. as well as a really crummy Oliver Stone movie.
