1964 GMC 1/2 Ton 4X4, 305 V-6, yes that's a 6!

The engine was a real beast but I ended up swapping just about everything out in that thing.  Put in power steering and brakes, a pretty healthy small block, 3/4 ton axles.  I went though a couple of transmissions and actually twisted my driveshaft off once.  I was hard on things when I was younger.

dark metalic blue 1981 ford fairmont  straight 6  4 door.  It was rear ended  while my sister was driving it.  So that summer my dad and i  half ass plopped another rear end on it and bondo'ed the beast up.

My dad used it as ian experminital paint job car. He sprayed the whole thing without using thinner.

It it ran great. To say it looked like shit would be a complemrnt.

BUT IT WAS MINE.  looked identical only different in color

My first and only car I have ever owned is my 2005 Honda Civic LX.  I love that car so much.  I don't think I'll be getting rid of it anytime soon, but whenever I do, I'll be moving up to a four door.

1970 Chevelle in red (not an SS). The guy I bought it from had swapped out the engine for a Corvette L81 small block (350 CID) and the rear for a 10-Bolt posi from a '69 Olds 442. I still have the car although the rear has been changed more than once (kept shattering spider gears in the carrier shifting from 1st to 2nd thanks to the B&M TH350 automatic). Glad I never had to do a points job, the 'Vette motor had HEI. Still have the car but it's not in anywhere near the same condition, really needs a frame-off resto. Starts and idles just like I remember though!

1970 Chevy Nova ... it had a 307 V8 with a hole in the side of the block. I got it for $150. I found a good-running low-mileage small block 400 and dropped it in ...... she was a bit roudy for a stock Nova, especially for a 15 yr old. In MS, we could get out license at age 15 back then. (Late 70's, early 80's)

66 GTO...and I still have it home in the garage.

I'll be damned, me too.  Bought it in '79 and still have it.  Tri-Power, 4 speed.

Mine was a 69 GTO and still in my garage too.

A '69 was my 3rd car and I still have it too.  It was in pretty rough shape when I bought it in '82, but an amazingly unmolested, boring GTO - Expresso Brown with Gold Two-Tone painted roof, wire wheel covers, a/c, p/s, and an auto on the column

My best friend and I tried to buy everything we could when we were just out of high school.  He wound up with three GTOs - a '67HT, '66 Convert, and a really loaded '68HT.

I wound up with the two above, plus a '70 Trans Am, RAIII, auto, in Polar White with Lucerne interior.

It's a good thing we bought them when we did, it'd be hard to swing the prices these days...

1980 Monte Carlo.  It ran great but in an act of immaturity and irresponsibility, I lent it to a friend who wrecked it.

1st vehicle was a '73 Hodaka Wombat.  1st car was a '73 Vega that missed getting the V8 stuffed into it like I wanted to do.  Never really drove it, 1st car I drove a lot was a '72 Toyota Celica, which is why I'll never own another Toyota again! Ergonomically designed to pop a heater core hose inside the driver's compartment and soak your shoe with coolant.  Fine Japanese engineering.

My first vehicle was a 1980 Ford Fairmont wagon, one of the biggest POS cars I have ever seen/owned. It did get me around and was FREE, but felt so unsafe. I got rid of it due to high miles and the frame that was about to crack in half from all the rust.

luger355, I wish I had a six in my Fairmant. Mine was a four, that barely pulled the car along at 55mph.

Same car as this, except in Powder Blue.

1951 Chevy 3 window pickup I bought at a sheriffs auction in 1977.  I paid $115 for it.  I was 14 years old at the time.  It had a babbit beater 216 straight six in it that had a little rod noise.  Dad and I dropped the pan in the driveway and filed the #5 rod cap a few thousandths and it was good to go.  I would love to have the truck back today.  It was a POS but I enjoyed as much as any I've had since then.

1983 Ford Ranger.

I beat the living shit out of the thing, and it took it like a champ.

When it came time to trade in my Dodge, I remembered my fond memories of the Ranger, and I ended up buying a F250
