I'm not gone. I am the correct inventor of patent 8,342,075 currently assigned to LWRCI. The lawsuits against LWRCI have not been lost and have lost no merit. The lawsuits against me are being fired back on, but unlike the Plaintiff's mine are served with at least a scintilla of supporting evidence. Going forward I have chosen to remove myself from multiple hostile situations when all I wanted to do was manufacture a fine product, which I successfully did... alone. However, through yours and others various abuses rather than encouragement, you have successfully run out yet another option of competition among the industry for higher quality and innovative products. I have provided the likes of you fellas years of my time and energy with little to nothing in return, threats of lawsuits, and actual lawsuits of which I certainly did not throw the first stone or deserve. That would be the amended assignment. As of March 2014, Gomez is still the assigned inventor. At least one suit has been dismissed. You came here expecting support from a shooting community, dragging along well documented baggage that illustrated your history and your demeanor when your audience challenges you with the truth. You must have been surprised that the membership here wasn't a bunch of drooling knuckedraggers easily impressed by your rifles without noticing the rest of the package you offer. You have poor or no understanding of intellectual property. Your online persona is hard headed and arrogant. You are intellectually dishonest with yourself and your potential customers, in particular with regard to anything you write, which is usually carefully tailored to bias opinions in your favor. The post above being an exception; maybe that's a good sign that you're going to dampen your unjustifiably enormous ego. The only product you offered that is unusual, for now, was large frame AR pattern rifles for magnum cartridges. Everything else you claim is common practice amongst custom gun builders, well except the "micro lapping" sales pitch, which they also perform, just without a bullshit appellation. Turmoil will die down. In a couple of years you will get a job with a gun builder that thinks you can offer his company something, or you will open a new shop under a new name and for a while no one will notice. After that, your long term success will hinge on your honesty in every action and interaction. Or, you can kick start your old ways and find yourself with debt for machines and rent, and squandered, misspent deposits for rifles that might see delivery in a year or two, maybe. It's going to be tough, your old customers are going to remember how they were treated for decades, and they will continue to tell every shooter they know. Build a few guns on speculation. Let them speak for you, be proud of what you built, and keep your ego in check. Be willing to accept the truth about your guns if they don't measure up, and either work to fix the problems or settle on guns made to your ability. Concentrate on standing in front of the lathe and less on worrying about a bullshit story or claims on IP to which you have no right. |
