Hit. Even though there isn't a Starbucks within 50 miles of me. This is why I like ARFCOM GD. If there is a poll anywhere, someone will see it and point it out. If a politician says anything anti 2A someone will see it and post it.

Sunday, on on the local Fox news channel there was a feature about Café Racer in Seattle. Last year a man entered the establishment with two 45's and killed four people. Since then people have been pushing for signs to be posted that no weapons are allowed in Café Racer. They recently decided to post such signs, as did a few other surrounding establishments. We all know this is ironic, practically an invitation for any nut to go to town who doesn't want any lead flying back his way. Several people were interviewed for the segment, most of them thought it was a great idea and would prevent further shooting sprees. Fortunately the last person shared our sentiment.
I am going to hit up Starbucks tomorrow for a Punkin Spice Latte. I pray to god the giant that is Starbucks puts that damn place into bankruptcy, then perhaps Starbucks will set up shop there and the neighborhood will be a safer place. |

Starbucks is overpriced hipster garbage. I could care less if the anti-gun trendy liberals who shop there care. Political momentum, how does it work? You aren't going to change any minds, especially not the minds of those who spend $5 on a cup of coffee. Changed minds or not; according to the official Starbucks response their policy remains exactly the same as always, word for word. To their credit, their policy is to follow the local laws on the matter and encourage those who don't like them to try to have the law changed to their liking. “Dear Brian, Thank you for contacting Starbucks. Thank you for your feedback regarding Starbucks’ policy on open carry laws. At Starbucks, we deeply respect the views of our customers and recognize that there is significant and genuine passion surrounding the issue of open carry weapons laws. We comply with local laws and statutes in the communities we serve. Our long-standing approach to this issue remains unchanged and we abide by the laws that permit open carry in 43 U.S. states. Where these laws don’t exist, openly carrying weapons in our stores is prohibited. As the public debate around this issue continues, we encourage customers and advocacy groups from both sides to share their input with their public officials. We are extremely sensitive to the issue of gun violence in our society and believe that supporting local laws is the right way for us to ensure a safe environment for both partners and customers. Thanks again for writing us. If you ever have any questions or concerns in the future, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We would love to hear your feedback. Click here to take a short survey. Sincerely, Dakota H customer service” |

I just hit it up and left this in the comment section.
Its nice to see a large chain like SB stand up for the constitution and the civil rights of American citizens. I will make sure when I buy a coffee I will give my business to them. Its also nice to know that criminals may think twice before attacking SBs unlike the gun free zones that are constantly the scenes of mass shootings. GUN FREE ZONES ARE FREE KILL ZONES. |

It should be up to the business to decide what dress code they allow.

Hence, the meaning of a 4 to 1 result in favor of Starbuck's freedom to allow freedom escapes them. |
