Ted Cruz would be an awesome AG or SCotUS justice. I don't know that he can get the low information voters who go for whoever they like more to go his way though.

Oh FFS!
He grew up here and is a born US citizen.

When he was a child, Cruz's mother told him that she would have to make an affirmative act to claim Canadian citizenship for him, so his family assumed that he did not hold Canadian citizenship.[33] In August 2013, after the Dallas Morning News pointed out that Cruz had dual Canadian-American citizenship,[34] he applied to formally renounce his Canadian citizenship and ceased being a citizen of Canada on May 14, 2014

I think this is the number one reason trump and Carson are leading in the polls.

Media want them to.

The last thing the media wants is to let Ted get trump amounts of time and blast people with facts .

EO's are created by the stroke of a pen, and they can die the same way.  So can the Iran "not-a-treaty" "deal"...  it's just harder to re-impound the money and reimpose sanctions.

You really should understand how things work before bloviating.

When it comes to the constitution he actually gets it. He's probably the closest thing we've seen to Reagan since, well Ronal Reagan.

He needs to tone down the religion though. That's too much of a put off to too many voters now a days.

I think he would make the best president of all those running.

Odd that both Carson and Trump are ahead of Cruz in the most recent Dixie Strategies poll in TX.

The strange thing is that Bush (in fourth)  is within the MoE to Cruz...If anything that sort of makes the poll questionable....Unless Texans are just retarded.

It still doesn't mean a lot right now. I've been hearing a lot of buzz about Cruz getting ready to start climbing in the polls. It's goog not to peak too early as Trump and Carson are doing.
Only rarely does the guy ahead in the fall last the winter and win the primaries. We have a good field and there will be lots of movement away from the summer fad.

Meh, they have been talking that "peaking early" thing for months now and they are only getting stronger.

The only thing Cruz has going for him now is his money and his policy views.

He is great on policy but he is the most personally unlikeable hopeful by far in the field and money/time won't change that.

Sadly likeability plays just the same as policy these days. He's hugely unpopular with women as they consider him "creepy".

Folks won't elect a asshole and Cruz has certainly exceeded every expectation for being more than a bit of a asshole.

A effective POTUS has to work with everyone (or at least make them think they were worked with) and I don't see that quality in Cruz.

If push came to shove I'd vote for him but I'd not donate to him.

Comparison to other hopefuls Link?

Seems he's getting most of his PAC money from hedge-fund guru Robert Mercer and his ilk of Billionaires. Great for Cruz but it makes me wonder what they are buying.
