As many times as I’ve seen these aircraft doing these maneuvers, my brain still does not accept the fact that a plane can fly a square corner.
Nice vid Mark.  I send my pops your T38 pics all the time. He’s a former F4 driver but his “one more flight” would be in a -38. |

Every time I watch these videos I'm amazed at the finesse the F-22 allows its pilots. I'm sure the lack of depth precision makes it look tighter than it is, but they seem to turn on a time and follow the pilot's input instantaneously.
It's a shame that production was ended on them. |

A few years ago one crashed in the desert in Socal. The pilot ejected but died. Very sad.

Should've known, this country was fucked, when they stopped production on this magnificent, and arguably the word's most capable air superiority fighter. I think, we only have like 167 airframes, and once they're gone, they are gone!
In the meantime, FBHO/Biden sold the technology to China, and now they're going to produce them by the thousands, albeit inferior than our's. But numbers count, and if they're able to send a dozen of theirs to one of ours, the odds are not good for the F22. And don't even come with that, "we're going to shoot them down, even before they knew we were there" crap. FBHO/Biden also sold the Commies hypersonic missle technology. |

This is a great lecture to spend an hour watching. Key takeaway: The F-22 is designed to take the piloting out of the plane and make the meatsuit a warfighte, letting the plane handle the flying part. For example, when it's time to take-off, the plane knows it's time to take-off and the pilot doesn't have to remember to set things like flaps, take-off thrust, etc. The plane just knows... Totally worth the watch.

F22s have got to be one of the coolest sounding jets IMO, especially when they get into a turn and it sounds like they are tearing the sky in half.
Definitely one of the things I miss about being in Pearl Harbor is seeing and hearing them takeoff and land at Hickam. |
