For all those people in MD and VA who are unconcerned about an Ebola outbreak you realize there are sizable west African immigrant populations in both MD and VA suburbs, right?
|
|
Now that they've figured out the only chance of survival is treatment in the good 'ol USA, guess where they'll all be buying plane tickets to???????

I say we treat it like chicken pox and have ebola parties so we can all get it and move past it faster.

View Quote Yep, we even have several in our church. I'm not concerned about them as much as I am the people at Dullus who may have been in contact with US Patient 0 during his 3 hour layover. Where is the 'OMG' gif when you need it? |

Great... Ok, no clue where the Howard University Hospital is, but my wife's brother has a house a 1/2 block from the Howard University campus, and her other brother works in a DC Hospital. It's getting closer.

We need to quarantine DC NOW!!! Shoot anyone trying to leave!!! We have to stop the spread to save the country! Now what was it you were saying about an Ebola case in DC? |

Looks like two patients in the DC area now (second one is in Maryland):
ROCKVILLE, Md. - A Montgomery County, Maryland hospital says they're treating a patient with flu-like symptoms who has a travel history that matches criteria for possible Ebola, but the patient has not been diagnosed with Ebola at this time. Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville released the following statement Friday afternoon: "Within the past 24 hours, we received a patient at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital that presented with flu-like symptoms and a travel history that matches criteria for possible Ebola. Our care team immediately implemented guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the appropriate tests and care for the patient as well as the safety of everyone within our facility. We have procedures and equipment in our facility to safely handle patients with infectious conditions. Per these guidelines the patient remains in isolation and is showing signs of improvement. At this time, lab results indicate that this patient has another illness and we do not have a confirmed diagnosis of Ebola. View Quote http://www.myfoxdc.com/story/26699234/maryland-ebola-symptoms |

The man from the government assured us that ebola will not be a problem. I saw him on TV. As we all know the men from the government never lie to the American people |

The same "system" that the experts say is what would prevent Ebola from spreading here like it does in Third World shit holes I'm surprised they even tested the guy for anything instead of just sending him home with some antibiotics |

Let's see
They sent him home with suspicious flu symptoms even after he said he was from Liberia Gave him antibiotics for flu symptoms His apartment still hasn't been decontaminated pending some unknown government approval Nitwit with a harbor freight power washer and no protective gear spreading vomit everywhere Woman in flip-flops standing in the puke river Another nitwit in a hazmat suit with the sleeves rolled up Five cops with no PPE go into the contaminated apartment for paperwork A judge and 2 female assistants also go into the apartment with no PPE for some kind of social visit This is just with one patient. One fucking patient. |
