Um, I don't know how this got into this area, but once I know someone is a hard-to-the-left individual, then I disassociate myself from them.  I view Leftists as enemies of my country and myself, so I don't wish to associate in any way with them (including a couple of family members--much to my wife's chagrine), and I surely WILL NOT give money to those who will use it against me.  Screw that.

YMMV, but that's your business and I stick to minding my own.

I'm wondering if you think I'm a lefty now.

I'm right handed, but my left bosom is bigger.

Lemme guess: Monique and Unique?

I just call 'em the girls.  That's what happens when you breastfeed.  The kid favors one side.

TMI?  oh well.  deal with it.

i hear what youre saying, and half agree...sure, i'm not gonna go out and blow money on their CDs...hell...i dont spend ANY money on CDs for that matter, but if i hear them on the radio, i am not going to run off the road and crash trying to get to the station buttons/knob to change the channel just because i dont agree w/ their political views.  People are entitled to their opinions and views, and to judge them for having an opinion is absurd.  dislike their views, disagree, even agrue and toss around different viewpoints...SURE!! by all means...but to harbor hate over a person's opinions standpoint on issues and views is nothing short of dictatorish.  Brings a certain Austrian-born German leader to mind.

variety and freedom to express one's self are what make this place great.

I also wondering just why you and bee are blabbing at each other; all he is worried about is that he doesn't pay to fund political causes against himself.  He didn't say he'd turn off Willie if it came on the radio.

if you cant extrapolate it from my posts....then you just dont need to know DF!    j/k.  lemme explain it to ya.......because just as ive stated, variety is a good thing, and the BeeKeep and i have differed on occasion and hes a stimulating fellas to toss around ideas with.....hence reinforcing the meaning of my last posts

He's a liberal.  Blech!

True enough.  But he sings good...

So do the Chicksie Dicks--I don't listen to them either.

thats moronic,  because of an artist's political views, you let that determine if you enjoy their music or not??  i agree, i think Natalie Maines should keep her trap shut when it comes to her political stance, i disagree w/ her views..yada yada yada, but that does not change the fact that she and the rest of them are great musicians.  same w/ Willie Nelson.  MANY of music's "greats" were politically one sided and for lack of a better explaination, "not my type of people" but that doesnt change the fact that i DO enjoy some of said artist's music.

some of you guys are so one track minded and quick to jump on banwagons.....

tunnel vision is bad....umkaaaay?!

YEAH!  What he said!

Just like those Ben and Jerry people...I like their ice cream, and I don't care what their political views are.
so there.

Phish Food rocks!

<raises Hand>I secretly would like to have Bono's baby...Is that a bad thing?

Yes, that is a VERY bad thing.  Hey, you asked.  MJD

I dunno...people are people...I may not like someone's politics, but if I look hard enuf, I may find something I do like, ya now?
Bono for example (and I really DON'T want his or ANYONE's baby FWIW---I was kidding) his politics can be nerve-wracking when he rams them down the throats of concertgoers who simply want to hear his group play music...which they do very well...Do I go to their concerts? Nope. Will i buy their CD's? Yup.

I've changed my mind about the baby though...I'd have Adrian Paul's....is he right or left? I can honestly say, I don't know or care!

The highlighted part is.  I dunno about the first part; don't 'member hearing it in any Willie song.

But I do find it interesting suspicious that you'd have to ask this when it's from the title song of the album you posted just nine posts below.  You wasn't jus' puttin' us on, was you?
