At first, I thought he was a terminator and then, I realized he was just some guy shooting the wall...

I myself have done these kind of drills, but its always been in a action pit or bay, never at the stall and with people directly to my left. i have seen people draw from holster in the stalls and shoot downrange, but the reload and all the people that are directly to the left of him when he does his stuff would be of great concern if it was my range. a fumbled reload and something bad could happen.
But of course, their range, their rules. |

I have been to a few indoor ranges in my life and have never seen anyone doing this between stalls. anyone know what range this is? No its not me, or even my son. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd6wxGdehr4 Read the little white box in the video. It contains a clue. First thing I saw when video started. I'm a member of an outdoor private range. When it's just me or a few buddies, we can pretty much do what ever we want as long as it's safe.

One of local indoor ranges I frequent does not allow that stuff during regular hours. Now after hours on certain Sundays they host IDPA/USPSA matches, so the folks shooting those obviously will shoot on the move, around barricades, standing/kneeling, etc.

Someone please explain to me the stupid looking wrist bend after each string of shots...
I am assuming this is supposed to be some tacticool operator move, that was learned from tacticool operator instructional videos or something...What is the reason for it? |
|
they would allow it here...
but my range is my back yard and i'm the only one useing it |
|
if its real than this range master is a grade A moron to allow this. there's other stalls being occupied which, from my understanding, can be a serious insurance liability.
my only conclusion is this is a kid being filmed by a buddy on daddy's range. |

My local indoor range does after hours USPSA-style practical pistol competitions. That'd probably be the only ok time to do any shoot and move stuff.

Only Assians are allowed act tacy-cool. What ever he can do....There's probaly an african who can do it. better. They do everything the best...

Can't draw from a holster unless you're doing an "approved activity", so classes, IDPA, IPSC, etc, but otherwise we can do just about any of that stuff except for firing behind the line with others around. Although I don't see anything against dual-wielding, I'd imagine that would be frowned upon.

This dude is absolutely trying to impersonate costa. That's all he cares about.

I think that it is funny how many people are trashing this guy for his hand movements when it looks like he is probably a better shot than most of GD.

as a lefty myself, I would like to point out that he is left handed. he can shoot and handle a gun. the range let him do what he was doing. I spent an hour today pretty much the same thing at the Jackson Hole Gun Club range. multiple target drills, move and fire, mag changes, failure drills, 5 round drills, weak hand shooting. you won't be seeing it on youtube. I don't understand why this gets so many people here on a firearms site bent out of shape. this is how you train for action pistol competitions, and for defensive pistol use. I enjoyed the video. I don't know what to make of the dual wielding, but it's fun to watch. View Quote not sure why he is doing the dual thing, but damn it's hard not to smile with a 1911 in each hand |

I wonder how many times he had to get fucked in the ass before his wrists naturally bent that way...
While he can operate a pistol, I think it's terribly gay how he was jumpin around like that. In a range setting, he is a definite liability. ~WTS |

Everyone is laughing...but I bet he can handle his pistols better than most of us here. I know he's MUCH better than I am. View Quote Meh. we have no idea if he is getting hits though, and that is where the rubber meets the road. My range probably would allow it, but since its ALWAYS jam packed the chances are zero that the opportunity will ever arise to do so. and you have to clear it with the staff ahead of time. and probably pay for every lane you are using. |

Lets see his targets.
He looks like a douche. He's kind of fast-ish. The wrist bend is homo. But if he didn't hit anything, then . His friend dual wielding 1911s is full . As is the SIG 1911. Also, (unrelated) I've always thought it was weird when I see people wearing their watch on their weak hand wrist. I wear mine righty. It is nice to see somebody wear theirs facing inwards though. I'm not gonna shit on him for the sunglasses thing though. My brother wears fucking aviators everwhere. |

My range has LE/Open movement bays for a specific level of member.
We go ever couple of weeks and wear cargo pants and do run and gun type drills. |
