Covid has become the DNC's Forever War. I didn't think about it until a pp mentioned it but this will surely be used to prevent Trump from holding his rallies. The democrats hate them and have no response to them. So shutting them down will be a big goal for them. They will say that the potato isn't going to have rallies, either, for "the good of the collective." But the truth is that he will be in no condition to hold rallies. Not that he would attract more than a handful of media and a shit load of Jeep vehicles to hide the poor turnouts. When the potato hits the big slide, it's going to be bad. I dated a girl about a decade and a half ago who had a mother who was suffering from early onset dementia. She could walk, talk, and feed herself at first. She was generally confused, but she could somewhat function. Within 18 months, she was no longer self-aware and was in a vegetative state. It was really sad. And it was shocking how fast she deteriorated. The medication staved it off for as long as it could, but in the end, there was nothing anyone could do. Biden has that to look forward to. The cutting edge drugs are holding the worst of it at bay, but sooner or later, no drugs will stop the inevitable. A year from now he will likely no longer be able to do public appearances. That he's lasted this long is a testament to the drugs they have for the disease. |

I never expected Joe to make it this far. Outside of clown world, any sane people would have never run him, much less kept him propped up this long, and a sane population would have never stood for this scam- it was obvious during the election cycle and lots of us were pointing it out along with various tells. My wife has multiple appointments a month and she still has to wear a mask. I've had multiple appointments monthly in the Virginia Mason system and the staff always wear masks but they are not required for patients currently. Doctors are hit or miss if they chose to wear them in my experience. |

So in the health care world, this might go over. Many doctors around here are all for this (yes, I know this first hand). However, the "staff" are not as enthusiastic overall. Now, will this bleed down to other aspects of life in WA? Could be. I still see several masked folks to this day. It amazes me, yet there it is Not sure the overall population will be as willing as before to go back to masking though. Then again this is WA, so who knows.

Florida as a whole went to #1 in educational attainment, largely due to the pandemic and most of the states ahead of us in educational attainment using COVID as a katana to commit ritual seppuku to the "Settled Science" and teachers' unions.
