I'll happily vote for Paul, the problem is we need a majority political party, not one guy. Even just the presidency is thousands of people all through the executive branch that need to be pulling in the same direction. Getting the right to do that has been a problem for a long time. Cruz has always done the preacher routine, he comes by it naturally. I think it's one of the reasons people who enjoy that sort of thing have always vastly overestimated his national viability. I like him just fine where he's at, better than most. |
