I handload 5.7 and only hit 2150fps with a 40gr VMAX in my suppressed PS90 SBR, and that’s ~100fps faster than nearly all 40gr factory ammo. |

I knew the local sportsman’s had a 15p in stock so I just went to try and buy it. They only price match with a couple specific retailers(Brownells, Midway, Walmart, Amazon and a couple others) so I guess I’ll just order the one from guns.com |

I did, and can reload both 7.62x39 and 5.45x39, but unless you're just stroking it to your cheap ammo fort, it's eventually going to end. More guns is always better and being able to just grab or reload some cheap 5.56 55gr FMJ and go have fun has an upside. And having another gun in 300BO is never a bad thing either. |

this is one of those deals I kept looking at, kept talking myself out of, wasn't sure if I wanted, but kept looking at it, and now that it's off I regret not getting it. But will probably be glad I didn't  That seems like it would be a decent truck gun if you added a suppressor and good brace etc. But I would probably be better off building an 11.5 AR pistol. |

I finally got to sight the 15p in today. The trigger is extremely heavy even compared to a milspec AR trigger. Looks like Geissele or Shooting Sight is about to get some business. Shooting off of a Lead Sled, I was getting 1.5 inch groups at 50 yards with an Aimpoint Patrol on top using Norma 62 gr 5.56 Nato ammo. I was ringing steel at 200 yards supported and off of bags. I am happy with my purchase overall. Sorry I don't have any pictures of my targets. The range got incredibly busy before I was finished. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |
