Showed my wife and she got a sour look on her face. Apparently women don't get this.

I think it is a dream sequence. I think it is great. Wife of 14 years now thinks Ive lost my mind.

Now I need one of the hoodies to give to her.

It's definitely in North Dakota.  They even made a movie about two sheep ranchers there: Wooly Boys Trailer

ETA: Frick, there's mountains in the opening scene of Thanks Smokey.  I vote that the sheep lover was from ND and was on vacation in MT and that's why they arrested him instead of letting off with a warning like they would if he was still in ND.

They failed to show the best technique for dealing with sheep.

You get some high top rubber boots and put their back legs in your boots. Then find a cliff to walk them toward. That way the sheep seems like they're into it because they really start backing into you as you near the cliff.

I'll never forget the first time I heard the joke about tall rubber boots and sheep.  I was pretty young so I didn't get it until about 2 years later.  Hysterical laughing occurred when I did though.  The cliff is a new twist though, first I've heard of that.

Another helpful hint for guys handy with a needle and thread.

Take a sheep skin and cut a rectangle as wide as a beer can and long enough to go 'round the can + a seam allowance. Sew it up the side, inside out and you've got a very efficient beer cozy.

Turn it inside out and you've got what's known as a Montana pacifier. You can figure out for yourselves the appropriate way to use it in this configuration.
