Reminded me of the wranglers poem:
One white sock buy him two white socks try him three white socks look well about him four white socks do without him four white socks and a white nose cut off his head and feed him to the crows (like that one, Ironoxbows?) |

I choose my dogs names through a trait or action that the dog has/does.
I had two Pits from the same litter I named Cain & Abel. One was very mean to the other the day we got them. Can you guess who the mean one was? Named my Pit/Lab Tyson because he bit my ear and drew blood the day I got him. Named another Pit/Lab Toby because of a little white spot on his chest(jet black other than that spot). Had the ugliest Mastiff mutt that I named Oscar because he looked like he came out of a garbage can. |
|
Name the dog after a famous movie dog.
The dog in the movie "the jerk" was named Shithead. |
|
'Reload' is good...if it's a working lab.
If its a pet, I'd suggest 'Katie'.......for sentimental reasons...... |

Quoted:
I choose my dogs names through a trait or action that the dog has/does. quote] Wise practice. If I had done this my Boykin Spaniel (daughter named him Fudge) would have been "Hoover." SOB will eat anything. Had to poke around the yard for days until a zipper came out when he ate his bed. 10 years old and still reminds me of one of those chippers they throw trees into. If she has a prodigious appetite, HOOVER. |

EX WIFE ... no go. |

OK ... wife came up with a name that no one else has ... BAILEY. And that one stuck.
She and I hooked up on St. Paddy's Day ... i.e. Bailey's Irish Cream. HOWEVER ... HOUSTON HUSKER came up with CINDER ... which the wife and I both really liked and we almost named her that ... so somebody had to win. THEREFORE ... HOUSTON HUSKER gets the bracelet. IM me an address and it's coming to you via regular mail. HAD THIS BEEN A MALE: TANGO would have got the nod. Thanks for playing ... please support AmericanSnipers.org BK |

My Grandmother had a huskie (male) named Bailey. Cool. |
|
|
I had a Siberian Huskey named Tango, I loved saying "Tango, Down!" |
|
|
Wife decided to go with BAILEY ... thanks to all that participated.
|
|
That's really cool, brian!
Cinder was my very 1st dog's name...she was a Cocker/Collie mix and black as coal, and one very smart dog. I appreciate you sending me the bracelet, and I IM'd you the address! Thanks again, HH |

I was going to name my pup I kept from my last litter of puppies Awesome [my kennel name] Whiskey Foxtrot Tango and call him Tango [as in WTF am I keeping another dog for?] But Tango just didn't suit him so I named him Awesome's Where Art Thou and called him Romeo. He's pretty cute! Patty |
