All original MP44 bringback that "doesn't exist"

Met a guy once that had an M16A2, real deal. Was out at a shooting spot with my AK. When we got to talking he didnt know what a tax stamp even was. I even put a mag through it on burst, before I found out . I still see him around town too. Not a gangbanger or nothing.

A Colt walker. It belonged to a man that had owned it for over 50 years. He paid $150 for it from a neighbor while living back in NC. When he brought it to a colt collector friend, I was fortunate enough to be there. It is a $275-300k gun. He had it insured and believe he still has it as I have not heard of it coming up for sale. The last one that was sold went for over $300k.

Next would have to be a few H&H doubles I seen down in Reno. only in the $100k range but there are not many guns out there that I would have in place of an H&H in 450-500NE or .375 H&H.

Other then that I kinda like a 10/22 and 38spec!

Neatest gun I ever daw was an oldie with tons of history behind it.  It was one of the air rifles carried on the Lewis and Clark expedition.  These were used to take down game as large as deer and were added to the expedition in the event they ran out of gunpowder.   They used them to impress the various Indian tribes they came across.   One of the few remaining artifacts of the expedition.

The original Auto-Mag prototypes from the "factory" in Pasadena.

then a pair of custom finished bolt action rifles when they were being delivered to the customer at my lgs.  These were the prettiest, handsomest rifles I've ever seen.  338 and 458 Winchester Magnums, they were custom made for a safari.  They were built on the actions made by a small company, stronger and better looking than either Mod 70 or 700s,  The action was the makers design and not based on the Mauser..

bolt and barrel were deep blued, the receiver was a matte finish.  The wood to metal fit was unbelievable, hand checkering 20 lpi.  deep oil finish.  This was back in the early 70's and IIRC they ran about $3k then.  And they looked like they were worth every penny.  the wood grain pattern was amazingly aligned with the stock lines.

A Nazi SS belt buckle that flipped open to reveal a three shotshot 9mm pointed out .  Fired by depressing a button at the edge of the buckle.  Only 100 were ever made.  Let's see if I can find my pic of it.  Besides that, a 106mm recoilless rifle and an MG42 on an anti-aircraft mount.

Also, a Japanese officer's samurai sword, complete with pellets of 00 buck embedded in the handle from the Marine that shot him.

1000lb Napalm bomb.

Best museum I have ever been to.

I was volunteering at the CMP Store in Ohio when they were storing/organizing a bunch of historic rifles associated with the CMP and Camp Perry that were going to a display at the NRA convention.  I wish I had pictures or remembered all the details, but it was pretty awesome.  Whoever was managing the display took time to show me his favorites and let ME fondle them!  Thank you, whoever you were.

I got to handle one of the S&W Model 29s used by Clint Eastwood in "Dirty Harry".  The gun had a plaque on it, that it was a present to John Milius.
