Wasn't it you that asked if you could take the run penalty and ride with me in the SUV to the range?

To be fair, he used the IMI M193 crap I gave him in steel Korean mags.

It's true.

I'm pretty sure there are no pictures because everyone was too cold to take gloves off.

I ran first thing in the morning (again) and it was too cold for my GoPro to function even with a full charge. Both iPhones we had went down immediately. All we have are bitter, bitter memories.

The multicolored puke snow was gorgeous.

This was a great event, just the right amount of suffering all around. Thanks a ton to @splat2013 and @BMSMB for inviting us all to your frozen hellscape.

I'll get the event pics up as soon as I can, but I am currently living in the Salt Lake City airport because Dallas doesn't know how to handle winter.

Came home Saturday night to an ice storm. Power has been out since before I got home. Trees and power lines down everywhere. No eta for power to come back on.

Just getting around to posting photos, with limited internet access.

Had an awesome time at CWNW2. Met some great people and got to see some old friends that hadn't seen in a good while. Splat and Bmsmb ran an amazing event. I was honored to serve as staff running people for the event.

Placed 12th last year. 11th this year. Maybe next year I can finally get my top ten placement

Thanks again to all of our amazing sponsors. Arson machine, Geissele, and FCD really hit it out of the park with the donations. Among many others.

Took me 10 minutes to upload this photo. Will post more once WiFi is back on.

It wasn't as horrible as it sounds. Not kidding you would have done very well if you ran on Thursday around the middle of the day. Well, if you wore something more than your silkies. Everyone tells me I'm wrong but Thursday seemed like the nicer day to run. I think a large part of the difference in thinking was how much time one spent around the fires.

I would have been next to fire the whole time.  Throwing every log I could find on it.

I'm glad I got out of the region when I did on Sunday. Sounded like a storm was supposed to be coming in that evening.

Still not home, though. Been stuck in Montana since Sunday. Any southwestern Montana locals know of anything fun to do within walking distance of Dillon (no vehicle right now)? Bored out of my skull in this hotel room.

I didn't get many photos. So busy running people. Then my phone kept going dead due to the cold.

Went down the same way I came up. Visited a friend in Kellogg both coming and going, so there was some convenience there.

The hub on one of my wheels came apart a few miles from the Idaho border down here. Kinda wondering where I would have been on 95 had I gone that way. Might have ended up in a worse spot in terms of being able to get help.

After a nearly 3 year Cola hiatus I’m glad I made the trip to freeze my balls off with all of you. Slightly sketchy driving on the way there through the night Trying to make it back non stop through Montana/Wyoming was peak stupidity but it all worked out.

Thank you @Splat2013 & @BMSMB for hosting. What an awesome place for Cola Warrior!

Much thanks to stoner, Cali, Alpha’s and ORJeepGuy for running everyone and holding down the range. Although I spent most of time in the wall tent trying not to thermoregulate and die, it was great to see some of you that I haven’t seen in a while.

I cannot thank the sponsors that continue to support us enough.

Looking forward to the next one and hope to see some of you at West.

No. My buddy was going to hook me up with free gear rentals and lift tickets so I could try out snowboarding for the first time, but I saw the weather reports and decided to get out before that became an issue.

The bearings are shot on the other side, so I'm having those replaced so it doesn't happen a second time. Should be able to get back on the road soon.

I had a great time at the event and liked the way the steel targets were set up at the rifle range. Glad I was able to make it this year and look forward to being able to do it again. It was nice to see a lot of y'all, and I miss being able to congregate around a fire with a guitar and some singing, having god conversations, and hardly an electronic device in sight.

I also really enjoyed being able to check out night vision and shoot with it for the first time, so thanks to Stoner for that one!

Pistol targets plus 4 clays for rifle off-hand(standing).

There's rifle targets out there from 150-535 and a nice stiff breeze.
