It's an "LA thing".
None of you knuckle draggers would understand. |

Nothing new, same thing ladies did in the mid to late 80's and beatnik chics before them and Errol Flynn before that.
Nothing will ever be "new" in fashion (widely accepted anyway, i'm not talking about the lady gaga look at me fashion stuff ) because at some point cloths must function and our body design is set. |

They also seem to love wearing athletic shoes without socks.
I swear they're still PTSD'd to hell from the foot binding days. They do weird shoe shit. |

Nothing wrong with thigh high boots, but in the op the words "thigh high tennis shoes" does not compute.

More than a few girls I've been with have enjoyed going out with a miniskirt, thigh-high boots and no panties for some outdoor fun.

Who gives a shit, young Japanese girls are fun! They were still in the possible pedobear range. Although with Japanese girls they seem to look like that till they are 30ish. |

The industry caught up and super short socks aren't niche market items anymore, plus athletic shoes rot fast with a room-clearing stench when habitually worn without socks. The "no socks" look for women is definitely more feminine, but athletic shoes specifically are gross when worn in such a way. |

Oh, I love women in short skirts and thigh boots.
I need to move to Japan. |

No kidding, a HS girlfirend used to go through keds almost every three weeks. I told her "wear socks". Then those super cheap fashion sneakers came into style. So she was playing four times the price for 1/20 the durability. I literally saw her wear a pair out in a week. |

You did mention LAX rrright? You sure they weren't Korean hookers disguised as an All Girls Singing Group?

I'm at LAX waiting on a flight and I've seen probably 10 younger Japanese girls wearing short shorts and thigh high leather boots. One girl had the shorts and thigh high tennis shoes. OP is a Texan, like the majority of Texans I would think he prefers skin tight Rockies and cowgirl boots on his women.
