I mean, I laugh about it, anyways. |

I mean, I laugh about it, anyways. I remember a large dude having some type of issue in Liberty. We almost had a heat casualty last Nov. He got hazed pretty good.

Do you have to assemble an AK or something? I seem to recall pics of that from the original one. Just checking if I should google how to lol For noob non-combat- plan to have a belt set up? Or am I good to run a carrier without plates? Sorry for all the questions. I just want to be prepared. |

You can bring a gun belt or plate carrier sans plates. As long as you can get pistol +mags and rifle +mags to the range from the peep/AK station. It's around 1/2 mile between the two. How you choose to do that safely is up to you. No firearms will be loaded until instructed to by RO. Also getting your chug to the range will be up to you, staff will not carry it for you. |

If you want to zero your reddot on your revolver while you are on the clock, that's fine. It will not be the first time someone has done that. COF will be explained to you on-site by the ROs. But the targets will be right in front of you. Anywhere from 75-500 meters. |

alright fellas, I've got a 9 year old who's thinking she wants to run. She's been to a few Colas and has run with me but obviously not done any obstacles or shot. But, she can shoot. If there are any spots left, she's begged me to ask if she can have a go. She'll shoot a 5.56 rifle, and maybe a .22 pistol. We'll see what happens between now and then. I might make her pony up to the PDP. Gracias for the consideration. ETA she's the size of a 12 YO and can handle a gun. Killed her first deer last year with a .308! |

If she doesn't get to run at texas, there is usually a kids course at west. Mini obstacles, peeps/ak/run, shooting 22 & whatever amount of chug parents deem appropriate. It's the cutest shit ever. Afaik the youngest I've seen run (edit: the adult course) there was 11. |
