They're the folks who send their menfolk out to drive around the U.S. and offer to "re-asphalt" your driveway for $100 and who then coat it with used motor oil, as well as other scams of this type.

Real Gypsies can be good or bad; it depends on whether they were raised into the thieving culture or into regular society. I've never met one of the bad sort, although I've had "travelers" come by to try to talk me into letting them do my driveway or roof a few times.

They also don't have a problem at all pimping out their own children to tourists in Italy or training them to pickpocket and such.The Italian cops don't exactly care though.

It's a disgusting thing to say,and I wish that I was able to have more sympathy for them but even after reading books like Bury Me Standing and such,I have a very hard time having much sympathy or understanding for the Roma.At least the fucking Taliban have something close to an excuse,they live in mud huts and have never seen how civilized people live but the Gypsies see it and reject it.
