Investing in Bitcoin seems even more crazy than having faith in fiat currency to me. I have been buying silver since it was on its way down from ~$31 and will buy all the way back up to atleast $30. Buy at regular intervals even if it's just a little or you will be grasping Bitcoin (air). |

The volatility of bitcoin is what gets major attention. The high upswings is what got people interested in buying into it. Fortunately the volatility is what scared me away from it. I would have loved to be in before the big boom but I knew better than to get in after.
I was just wondering about our bitcoin millionaire the other day. Hopefully he got out in time. |

I still wish I would have kept mining a few years ago. That would have bought a few rifles.

You just disappear to keep people from harassing you to death and running scams on you I'd guess. He started threads about jumping in early on Bitcoin when they started it up (2009 IIRC). Had a history of posts about it for four years here with links. I believe it happened. It was a plan. He stuck to it. I'm impressed. |

How are they pulling that one off? I remember reading somewhere that bit coins had a record of who has owned them and when they were transferred. Could the feds be pulling the bit coins that were used for some kind of black market sales? Maybe some kind of IRS shennanigans? Or what? I don't know much about this bit coin thing, but it always struck me as somehing that will have a sudden and abysmal end. |
